Long time lurker first time commenter but her skin today! And she thinks it’s going to clear up because she’s not wearing makeup. Honestly doesn’t even look like she’s cleansing it with water let alone other product, and same clothes on as yesterday 🙃

Jess m’love your skin won’t improve by not wearing makeup. It’ll improve if you are cleaner and stop eating tons of sugar every bloody day and perhaps go to a dermatologist

I can't look at her stories. She puts the camera too close and her skin is making me feel nauseous 🤢 It's an irrational phobia I have from school when I was made to sit next to a kid in class who squeezed his spots all through the lesson 🤮

Ive previously says she needs to see a Dermatologist, they will recommend a cream or skincare routine so it would help immensely!
I also think it would be benefit it her to see a nutritionist ( this is not a dig at her love of cornedbeef I promise 🤣)

but I think it would benefit her to under stand what foods trigger her skin issues and hormones etc. Not to be cliche but in most cases it does boil down to what you put in your body. Or that can certainly help improve the condition.

there are different causes for acne I know but I do think Jess’ is down to her lifestyle and poor. Skin routine.

Hormonal acne is so difficult to deal with and definitely not as simple as ‘eat better’. Do people tell slim sufferers of acne to change their diet? Possibly...but certainly not as ferociously as fat people with acne. I don’t think it’s fair to go on about her skin 😢

I agree a little in reference to it not being purely about size but she does also post about popping spots and she also hawks skin care products and scrubbing skin devices so it does open her up to criticism unfortunately.

I did say I know not all acne is diet related. But but being obese can duck up your hormones and cause acne for some l.
I say this as i was always quite slim up until a couple of years ago I had no skin issues Other than the occasion time of the month spot. I gained masses amount of weight putting me into the obese bracket and I suddenly got acne. Not as bad as Jess but it was similar all over my face and the spots were pretty aggressive and painful.

My doctor refered me to a diet specialist.

it helped me understand what sugar in particular and too much dairy was doing to my body.

my skin and healtH has improved immensely from taking on their advice l. Im still a fair bit over weight but with the gradual changes I’m making it is all improving Including my skin.
I wonder if Jess could benefit from it. I mean it’s quite possible she has gone down that road and it hasn’t changed a thing for her.
But there’s no harm in trying it she hasn’t.

To be fair, they do where I live, starting by the dermatologists, no matter how much you weight. To try avoiding certain groups of food especially (like dairy).
I have a perfectly slim acquaintance who has this persistent acne problem.
I know fatphobia exists (including in the medical field) but we can't bring it as an excuse everytime we find it convenient, as some influencers do.

I would never buy a coat that didn’t fasten comfortably. I’m plus-sized too and I realise that cut varies wildly and one size doesn’t fit all body shapes but there is no need to wear stuff that doesn’t fit any more

I’m going to unfollow Jess now. That flasher mac story is the last straw. Not funny and something a lot of people have experienced and found traumatic. She certainly has a weird sense of humour at times.

Does anyone genuinely find her funny? Because I don’t... she tries way too hard to be funny and it just makes her look like a tit.

Completely misjudged. Why would you put that on your stories? Can’t imagine it would appeal to brands or to women in general. Unfollowed her immediately.
IKR!!! Her humour is shocking so sickening how can brands want to work with her?! She brings down the reputation of any brand she works with🤢

The first coat was so tight her arms couldn’t even move! Said this before but she’s in-denial about her size
