I noticed as she was panning around her “calm space” that amber wasn’t there with her, and they each had a nice drink set up on the sofa, assume this means they’re already leaving amber to sleep upstairs on her own.
I find this really sad that they think this is a normal part of a long term relationship for the reasons that they have been together so long and they see each other all the time...
It isn't, or at least it shouldn't be. I've been with my partner since I was 16. We've now been together sixteen years and we have never run out of stuff to say to eachother. And it's not because we aren't together most of the time either. He's worked from home exclusively since corona virus hit. We spent 8 months shielding because of the medication I was on at the beginning, so saw literally nobody else except our firstborn who was a preschooler and was unable to leave the house. I was then pregnant and my work decided it was safer for me to work from home on the two days I work. I'm now on mat leave with a with a baby 5 weeks younger than carys.
It sounds like their relationship is getting really stale but they are stuck in a loop of James being dependent on carys for income and carys being dependent on him for emotional support and both being dependent on social media to maintain their way of life, even though it is clear that they would benefit from taking time away to find themselves again and bond with their daughter. It must be really tough being first time parents AND it being documented on social media for all to see and critique
I wouldn't do it for all the tea in China personally... And I think they are only just discovering what a different kettle of fish it is presenting your child as part of your content as its highly emotive. This isn't going to change and they need to understand that and decide whether they can cope with putting that side of their lives out there. Either way they need to decide on a direction to take their channels in soon, as they are going to seriously struggle with losing views with the lazy content they have been churning out recently. There's only so many day in the life vlogs people will watch.

James seems to have no friends, I bet their meal out involved doing hangman on the phone.Exactly! I’m grateful to have a partner who not only works full time whilst I get to be a stay at home mum but actually socialises and goes out with his mates otherwise I think I’d go crazy

I’m Glad she’s taken amber to baby yoga…. But… why did need James to go, and drive? At over 3 months old it’s concerning that Carys still hasn’t taken her out herself.
I was just coming on to say this! So Carys goes to mum & baby yoga and James has to drive her there?

Could just see James standing outside the room with the baby monitor watching and listening for Amber so he could go into the class and take Amber swiftly if god forbid she should cry or even fuss in the slightest in public.
they are so desperate for a perfect baby. James even tried to make out in the mcdonalds chat with us that amber doesn't fart

But bloody hell he is the father, does that not mean anything is he not allowed to share and experience these moments with his first born child ?? I really don’t get what all the fuss is, the poor guy would be getting slated if he didn’t show an interest in his baby, he can’t win either way

I think we can all agree hes obviously a great dad, hes taken to his new role with such ease, compared to Carys she is so dependent on James, and he enables her. It just adds to her anxieties, she needs to take those small steps and take Amber on her own to classes, or for a walk on her own or her fears will only multiply.Unpopular opinion
