Maybe I live a sheltered life, but why the hell would you need to use a pasta strainer to blow dry your hair? Not to mention that judging from the illustration you could only do this "hack" with a wire strainer that has a handle. I certainly couldn't do it with the sturdy plastic bowl-shaped strainer that I have.

I wonder how well that blow-dry hack would work with an old teeshirt and some carabiner clips....

I skimmed the article quickly to see if it is one of guest's hacks. It's not, but apparently it is a tiktok beauty hack for blow-drying curly hair. I am a straight haired frau 🍉 so cannot comment. Sure guest will be all over it though with that head of bountiful babyliss curls!!

I am starting to think guest is quiet as she is a juror on the Lucy Letby trial.
It keeps being delayed and days adjourned as one juror keeps being poorly or just not turning up

Not verified yet if they have a stick and an expensive watch but will keep my eyes peeled.

QMLASFN Quoting Myself Like A Silly bleeping Ninny but I’ve confused two bits of Jacklore here haven’t I? It’s “Pumble” because it was a pastry-crumble (for some bleeping reason) and nothing to do with microwaving a plum (for some other bleeping explodey reason). I guess this proves just how little of guest’s ouevre/recipes/backstory/existence makes any sense whatsoever.
Pumble is a portmanteau of Pie and Crumble. It has a pastry base and sides, filling, and a crumble topping.

inexplicably, Jack’s version had upright puff pastry discs on the top? and 3 manky spoons jabbed in it, therefore it’s likely that any actual pumble you encounter IRL is safe, and it’s only Jack’s nightmare version which can harm you worse than a boiling hot, exploded microwave plum.

I’ve seen a tweet saying SBs dad is ready to talk publicly about her. I don’t think it’s true though. She’s lucky she’s not actually famous otherwise someone would pay him a lot of money to talk.

I think her new book should be called something like ' truth, justice and tattle' 'my so called tattle life' 'tattle said it better' welcome for the ideas petal!
To paraphrase Pratchett:

Truth, Justice, Reasonably Priced Love and an Inexplicable Egg.

Didn't realise there was a non-sabotaged recipe version of pumble.

I've similarly gone from being an active member to a well-known one today, so thank(space)you Jack, for all you do.

I never understood why her Pumble had those weird discs on top. The recipe makes it sound more like a normal crumble in a dish, so the shape of it is bizarre. Difficult to duck up a crumble of all things but she managed. Sadly I don’t remember anyone attempting it in the slopalong.

Only one of these can harm you
One of these things is not like the others

Haha bleeping hell. That one image just proves how awful she is in the kitchen. I don’t know whether it’s “this’ll do, all goes in and out the same” or “I’m a bleeping genius this is PERFECT”. Almost admire guest for the sheer bravado - either through naivety or narcissisity

Actually, it’s PRESENTATION isn’t it. She can’t present anything. Food, appearance, coherent thoughts, TV shows, SB at Xmas etc.

Thing is, everyone likes pie with some kind of filling (pumpkin for me!) what’s not to love about an extra topping of sugary crumbs?
Makes normal crumble look kind of lame, I reckon. Like a “crustless quiche”. U on Slimmimg World, hun? Where’s your pie case gone?
She’s RUINED Pumble. And it wasn’t even a pumble. I DEMAND a slopalong is made (not by me, I’m tired, so tired - but in a medically confirmed way)

I now realise I've had a slice of pumble before (although it was not described as such). And it did not look like that hideous thing.
