You know this grifter is going to rename one of her bank accounts “Jacks spwecial ringfenced legal fund” with a balance of £11.63, screenshot it then screenshot a receipt of £11.63 sent to some local foodbank.
She will then refer to it as “proof” of donating the funds to charity, despite her not showing the donations going into her PayPal, no real evidence of donations, ringfencing etc.

You just know that, rather than doing some self-reflection and finally accepting that she needs to put the bare minimum of effort into retaining the Patrons who are left, she'll be blaming trolls for the drop in numbers...not the fact that she's a lazy twit who does absolutely duck all in exchange for the free cash they give her every month.
Yep, just like the Teemill. If she got away with that (rather, if she thinks she got away with it, being too thick to realise it was yet another factor in her reputation sinking like a pumble in concrete shoes over the past year or so), she'll try it again.
That's interesting. It only makes it more puzzling that guest's been given so many chances by certain organisations. Aren't angry outbursts also a sign ofFrauen, I mentioned a while ago I know someone who knows someone who is involved with a national newspaper, on the food side of the house. Commissions writers for features etc. The intel I had at the time was that guest was 'unreliable, bad tempered, and treated people horribly'.
I have just had this re-confirmed and that the person point-blank refuses to commission anything from guest now. The paper has apparently 'cut all ties' because guest was too volatile, had lots of angry outbursts about things, and was a nightmare to work with.
Looking at their website I don't think guest has written/been featured in this outlet since 2020 so I am inclined to think this tea is true!

When she does her “sigh” yes I donated that money the receipt is on the blog, they never follow up with “you haven’t shown the sales figures, so how do we know you donated the right amount?”
This is where Ariel did really well. She kept to her point and she gave intelligent retorts which showed Jack as being crazy disingenuous.

Just been having a leisurely Bank Holiday grunk, and a flip though one of my recipe books (I love recipe books- proper recipe books, not amateurish slop manuals) and it's Paul Hollywood's British Baking. Lovely recipes where he explains about 'blind baking' if needed, notes that you remove the beans/foil, and many are accompanied by a double page spread of easy to follow, step by step photos to help you along. But who would want a double page collection of snaps of guest's grubby grabbers?

Yes, plus she's involved actual real life people in this cash grab. Sue Lee, Daubney, even Lozza Fox. I don't imagine they'll be backward in coming forward wrt it all.

I don’t know if she has the self awareness to realise that’s not gonna work this time. She needs to drop some serious change into whatever “local charity” she has deemed worthy of funds, otherwise I think it will be the ultimate tipping point. You’ll always have the deluded neck beards, but those who were on the fence before will only need the barest of nudges for the scales to well and truly fall.

Did Jack set up crowdfunding specifically for the libel case or did she just direct squigs to her Patreon as usual? I wasn't following the Sue Lee chaos from the start.

The "playing a very expensive game of chicken with someone who has a proven track record of crossing this particular road without fear nor favour" tweet the next day is my favourite part of it.

I’m more interested in Sue Lee Day than I am in the effing coronation.
She just directed people to pay into her PayPal. She didn't give then a reference to quote or anything that would enable her to identify money that was donated specifically for this, rather than general "because of all the good you do
" donations.
My personal suspicion is that she actually donated *more* than the actual profits from the Teemill merch, possibly even by ten-fold, because she wanted to save face when they didn't sell as well as she hoped and she ducked up by bragging about total turnover rather than actual profits, so everyone was expecting her to donate ££££s.
The biggest issue with all of this is the lack of transparency. She could have avoided all the criticism and suspicion around Teemill by transparently posting the sales figures and saying "sorry, I ducked up - silly smol brain!" but instead she lied, tried to style it out, and got in an even worse mess.
Similarly, setting up a proper GoFundMe or Crowdjustice for suing 30p Lee rather than the link to her Paypal would remove all the doubts and criticism about ringfencing, and also provide a mechanism for returning the money if it doesn't happen. And she could also make her patreon income public, especially if (as she claims) so many people are only paying a pound a month.
