I dislike her right now. I am an avid reader and a lover of books. My kids are too and my FIL ( not an outlaw) brought them round a terry pratchett book. They are very excited,but i am sorely tempted to recyle it and give them the cash for a book by anyone else, due to her association with the Pratchett legacy. I am cross and annoyed, as i am sure they would love the book but, its tainted for me.

You would do them a disservice, dear heart - pTerry would have *never* in a million years allowed guest to taint his work. You'll have to explain that the Vimes Boot Theory was highjacked by nefarious people profiting of his well known name (which is something that happens frequently to famous names), and has zero to do with the author's work. The sheer joy of discovering Discworld will more than make up for any explanation you might have to offer.
His books are funny, intelligent and offer a sharp insight into himan nature. I would bet good money his daughter is sorry she let JM use her father's name, and will probably distance herself quietly from her.
