I think you’ll find that at the time she wrote Hunger Hurts on July 30, 2012, she could go a WEEK without speaking a word to another human being out loud.
Despite having a young toddler AND working in a full time volunteer job as a PA between March 2012 and this piece she wrote on August 5th 2012.
I think you’ll also be rather surprised that after writing this “preemptive obituary” (as she describes it in the tweet above), and publishing it on 30th July 2012 and then taking “dozens of pils” …
She didn’t go to the food bank the next day because she didn’t wake up til the evening.
BUT! when our intrepid heroine woke up in the bath the next evening after her failed suicide attempt, despite feeling “freezing cold, alone and extremely sick”, her first selfless act upon allegedly “waking on the evening of 31st July” was to post an ad for a cooking teacher for Southend Mind and encourage people to volunteer.
Also, In the 24 hours between posting Hunger Hurts attempting suicide and waking up in the bath next evening to immediately advertise for a volunteer cookery teacher, Jack apparently got an outpouring of “messages from strangers telling her their stories” in response to Hunger Hurts.
I’m not sure where though, because as you can see, there are a mere eight replies to that post, NONE of them between the 30th and 31st July and NONE of them “telling her their own story in return”.

I think she started with something simple that probably is basically true, eg I can believe she went to a food bank once and then she embellished it very carefully in the first few accounts and as nobody called out that or her other small lies/embellishments she got bolder and bolder, tailoring her accounts of things to whatever purpose she wished to serve at the time.
10 years later, she’s told so many stories she can’t remember them all and probably can’t actually remember which one is the real truth either.

I'll admit that the last 6 months of following Jack has turbocharged my natural cynicism - but isn't it a bit fishy that this arrived the day after AM's brief reappearance?
It's a reasonable summary of other people's work, with a few obvious errors: Sunday Woman is a low-engagement blog, not a "media outlet"; Jack has bought far more than a single sideboard; it's impossible for Jack to have made as little as £20k in the last year from Patreon; there's no evidence at all of Jack having done "dinner speeches"; she's confused "avoidance" and "evasion" when talking about Jack's taxes; the situation with the On a Bootstrap Ltd accounts was much worse than simply being "a year late".
A bigger problem for me is the studied avoidance of crediting Tattle. The list of sources should lend credibility, but there's a definite air of "parallel construction" about them - it's almost as if she's claiming to have done all the research herself, when she very clearly hasn't. I guess she might claim that Tattle is held in low regard, and that naming it as a source would detract from the article - but if that's a concern, why then include several paragraphs moaning about how many platforms she's been banned from? It's all a bit weird.
It also demonstrates how ignorant she is. She was a single mother with a low income, which are recognised as being vulnerability factors. The main thing you want to build (within a public health sphere) is community capacity. Develop positive relationships and help reduce things like poor maternal/infant mental health, disorganised attachment and improve overall future outcomes.
She could at least look past her own honker and see why these things actually exist. It's not just for the chocolate bourbons
