Yep, honestly without HH2 I’d have just carried on seeing her as a slightly annoying attention seeker on Twitter, and just carried on scrolling on past. HH2 made me thing ‘hang on a minute, this makes no sense’ and then I found myself here. She’s brought about her own downfall and I suspect she knows it. A grift too far.
It’s is so satisfying that her downfall started with her shooting herself in the foot with HH2 then doubling down with Spudgate. It’s even more perfect that she’s become a laughing stock, the one attack she can’t deal with is humour - the hilarity of this place must have been absolutely destroying her and being laughed at openly on twitter just made her short circuit.

I’m not fussed about any shortfalls in the podcast. She’s vampired and shat on so many different groups of people she can be torn apart on each one by the experts in that field at leisure once the big picture is out there. Good is all that’s needed, perfect isn’t.

That catch up was hilarious! Bless you brave ninnies learning all about manky fungal feet this morning! 🍄🦶 Does anyone know if we can listen to her radio piece anywhere? Just curious to hear how rough she sounds really. Maybe it was a chilly night last night? 🤔

@pleaserefundme - interesting tea frau! Look forward to the coming weeks 🥰

I agree. I'm 166 days sober from alcohol and am working through the steps with a sponsor. I'm hovering between steps 4-5, and am in no position at all to address further steps yet. They're set out in that order for a reason; as you have to do the work on yourself, building your confidence and mindset as you learn more about yourself and your actions. For many people, substance abuse is the symptom of a deeper, bigger, wider problem. Until you own your sh!t, make peace with yourself and unravel what is causing you to use, you can't progress through - particularly step 8. Making amends to people.

You can share, you can contribute, but as one speaker said in a meeting (I'm paraphrasing), 'When you're struggling, lean on people who've been there before you. Using their strength to help you paddle your canoe back to safety when you're heading towards a waterfall.'

Every share in a meeting is useful, even if only to remind you you are not on your own. If you've gone through tough times before, you can get through the next five minutes.

I also see a specialised DAA counsellor, (drugs and alcohol), a psychologist; and my partner and I are in counselling together. There is no way she's made any progress. The AA community works if you do.

As an aside, if you are struggling and need some support there's a 24/7 fully online meeting called 319.

~
I've added the cat in because I could, it makes me laugh. Have had two absolutely naff days at work.
wishing you and your partner well on your journeys ❤

I thought it meant there might be a newsworthy item ‘dropping’ tomorrow and I got all excited like Christmas time 😞
Patience tender one, it’s coming. We don’t need too much all at once or we’ll become overexcited and make ourselves sick- like toddlers jumping on a bouncy castle after mainlining Sunny Delight and E numbers at an 80s children’s’ party.

I can imagine someone with multiple fridges and freezers might lose track of what they have and need to do a regular stock take 🙃

Until recently I had two fridge freezers but one DIED the other day. I never felt the need to do a stock take. You just take a quick look in the fridge/freezer/cupboards right?!

I must admit I am missing my second fridge freezer. There's only three of us but we all drink different cold drinks which took up much of the space.

I just want to say as a fellow friend of Bill W you sound far wiser and further in sobriety than Jack. Keep up the good work, I promise it is absolutely worth it. ♥

It's funny what you guys are saying about whether Jack actually is an alcoholic. A friend sat on her table at an industry 'do' quite some years ago (maybe 2017? 2016? I think when she claimed she was still heavily drinking) and apparently she barely drank, barely ate anything and disappeared to the loos for long stretches with her date between every course for some pretty blatant Coca Cola consumption.
I sometimes wonder if she's actually getting clean from a class A habit but just chose to say it's alcohol as it's more palatable to her flying monkeys and celeb supporters, and above all, a lot cheaper.
I have been told this too.

I can’t say too much but a well known glossy women’s lifestyle mag has just put out a comment request, on the media database I use, for response to the Medium article on Jack.

Many years ago when my and my oh had just started living together I tried to make a bolognais out of burgers as I had no mince in, and the shops were shut. Readers, it was rank. Burgers have a lot of fat in them, or the birds eye ones I used did, they also have gristly bits which you don't seem to notice when it's in a bun.

I looked at the greasy mess boiling on the hob and lost my appetite, we did attempt to eat it, but it was not pleasant and has never been repeated in 30odd years of being together

I don’t know how to quote from previous threads - but for the questions about Jack being a premature baby

She was born at 30 weeks weighing 3lb 9oz

Her mum posted it to a premature baby group I’m in on Facebook, with a picture of her then and now which is how I recognised her.

It’s a closed group so I won’t post a screenshot.
Yet again, a Jack exaggeration. A 30 weeker is not 3 months early and quite different to having a 27 or 28 weeker.

Big thanks to all the canal who listened to the entire BBC radio Scotland morning programme - you were all hilarious- from feet to fungal nails to nasal honk- I was sat on a beach in the sunshine 🔺 hooting out loud, great commentary all, thank you for all you do 🙏🏼
Can you imagine driving through the streets of Scotland having to listen to that, the fungus made me dizzy - in no fit state to operate heavy machinery! The show wants closing down.

Glossy mag - GR*ZIA??

Sorry if already been mentioned and I missed it, but I did have one thought ... does anyone think she was after a mention in BJ's honours list (hence her bigging up the HRHs so much) ? I always got the impression she was jealous Marcus Rashford got one.
