And the comments section will soon be full of the usual alt right misogynistic crap that Mail readers specialise in. They will hold Jack up as a proper example of a “leftie snowflake” when some of us actual leftie snowflakes are pretty horrified by her actions!
The daily mail comments section is the stuff of nightmares. Saw someone in there yesterday saying we should get rid of the NHS and "let the scroungers suffer" 😨

I can't believe so many blue tickers waste their time hating on this site, this forum is wonderful and hilarious 🤗 I bet even the worst corners of this site are still sunshine and rainbows compared to the DM comments and kiwifarms

She's about as leftwing as my right toe. Real lefties have principles they stick to and work hard to dismantle structural oppression. Jack's as centrist as they come - and by that I mean she cares about HERSELF and that's all.
Thisssssss. She's the ultimate Blairite.

But her attacks have been so personal and not about his books.

He takes drugs.
He doesn't write the books.
He charges 25k to visit schools.
She hinted at sinister rumours about his personal life - missing chapters of his autobiography.

How is any of that just a concerned Mum worrying about book content?

Just thinking aloud here...

Isn't SB 10? So year 5?

Obviously, I'm sure schools vary in what they can provide at present, but the ones I know in a number of areas (occupational hazard and relatives in education) have only been able to provide education to actual essential workers where both parents are unable to look after their kids, and those termed Vulnerable, which encompasses those who are Looked After, on the Child in Need and Monitoring lists, EHCPs or where they have safeguarding/welfare concerns - for example, we've had kids who we know a kid is more likely to suffer some form of detrimental experience if at home, rather than in school, ones where money has been a problem, ones with overly critical, combative parents, those who aren't being properly cared for due to drug or drink issues but not enough for SS to take steps, etc, etc.

So, healthcare workers' kids, train drivers' kids, real firefighters' kids, those who have EHCPs or those who the member of staff in charge think are probably safer out of the home environment and checked on.

I have no knowledge of Southend's provision, however. Or whether the kid is actually about to go to secondary in September as he's an August born kid or something.

She’s a glory hunter. No more than that. She’s now in any publicly is good publicity because she’s not getting enough traction from her books and her collaborations.

Someone said earlier she is more active on IG these days. But yes haven't seen her on twitter since she got her book. Maybe she is still trying to recover from the inevitable crushing disappointment.

Thanks for replying! So its up to DW and team. I’m trying to imagine what I would do in his shoes.

I wonder if she’s been emboldened by the lack of backlash from the THAT MAN pile on (apologies if anyone else has already suggested this).
I think you're correct. After all off the back of the JO pile on she got the gig on DKL. Little to no backlash so now she's taking shot again, this time at DW. Quite what she thinks she'll get out of this ambush I'm not sure yet, although we did see that Caroline one suggesting she should write children's books herself? So maybe that's her angle this time.

I hope it backfires spectacularly. She's a sociopath.

The DM article seems to be a bit neutral, they have not done their stuff maybe because she sued them successfully before. Oh well she will be enjoying this.

Anyone work in PR/media? What on earth happens next?

Surely DW won’t just leave her to it, although ignoring her might be the best course of action.

Will the papers touch the story? Obvs she has a blue tick but she’s basically a nobody.
It’s already in the Daily Mail

I picked the wrong weekend to step away from this thread didn’t I? I’ve had to skip about three, no chance of grunka lunkaring any of those threads

Instead of getting excited about her latest pile-on and mentions in the Daily Mail, why doesn't she focus on being a half-decent mother to her son?

All this is like the David Cameron tweet a while back, about his "dead son". She is a vile, vile person.
