And I mean, companies like Dell Monte and Superdrug take note: your spokesperson might be using a 12 year old to control their public presence šŸ¤”
I imagine del Monte won't want to be involved in yet more child labour controversies. Thank god she's never sold out or compromised her principlesšŸ¤Ø

"It's all the same stuff with different labels!"... Apart from the brand's who pay her 5 figures, then it's definitely totally different and worth paying double. šŸ¤‘

The grift and attention seeking was born back in the days of spending a sponsored week chained to Rachel Green for the baby unit where she said they were putting themselves in the shoes of conjoined twins. Yeah.

So. The famous Open House Sale.

View attachment 1302106

As we all know, Jack sold all her tit and made 3 grand.

View attachment 1302115

3 grand is a lot of 20Ā£ coffee tables, no? Luckily Jack had more specialist items to sell...

View attachment 1302113

(A Frau with more knowledge of when UK festival tickets go on sale can take a look at that one!)

Even more luckily, Jack discovered that the world is full of idiots eager to part with their money:

View attachment 1302107

Is this the first squig? The protosquig?

Jack was keen to get involved with this idea:

View attachment 1302114

...and a monster is born!

Some people tried to offer other kinds of help, but Jack was havig none of it:

View attachment 1302110

Send cashos, not adviceos:

View attachment 1302111

This was also the start of Jack's media career:

View attachment 1302109

Being on local media and with a history of being stalked, Jack showed her usual caution:

View attachment 1302108

(I squiggled the address just in case one of her more rabid fans tries to set up a blue plaque.)

She sold EVERYTHING (except her laptop, camera, that Monsoon dress she was going to put on eBay last year, the fancy dress she wore to the awards the following month, the heart apron she wore in 2013 publicity shots...and her Filofax):

View attachment 1302112

So the essential question: where did the money go? As we know from previous deep dives, she didn't move for another couple of months afterwards until she found a flat that was both bigger and marginally cheaper.

Some of it went to her doomed crafting business...

View attachment 1302141

...and, interestingly, she claims to have donated some to charity (citation needed).

View attachment 1302116

Just gonna finish by saying that if I were so desperate I had to sell EVERYTHING, up to and including my son's toy dinosaur, to survive - and if I were worried I'd soon end up in the same situation again - charitable donation of other people's money would not be a top priority. Unless I were trying to create an image, of course...
This is brilliant - thank you. Feel incredibly ghastly saying this but wealthy grandad was still alive at this point so itā€™s not even a fall out over probate. He did pass soon after and people get funny donā€™t they so maybe it was in anticipation of, but speechless that a multi millionaire elder would have allowed this carry on? Very bizarre.

This is just a thought, but if she was with the Echo at the time of the festival it might have been free tickets for the newsrooms. If Reach - or Mirror Group - covered Southend, Chelmsford etc, then there would have been quite a few for reporters shared across sites. This used to happen with our regional newsrooms....
Then why lie that she bought them when she was still at the fire service?

I donā€™t think he was very impressed when she got pregnant from other stories sheā€™s mentioned or Iā€™ve seen here - and we all know how Jackie responds to any sort of criticism. Iā€™d imagine he was iced out for a period at least!

Going back to yesterday's tweet about how self publishing lost her money. How can that be?

She reached 9 times her kickfunding goal and it's pretty basic calculations to work out printing then shipping costs. With her laser focused forensic data analysis and maticilous detail for figures it would have been a piece of cake to make a profit.

Then no more only making 1.44% with those damn retailers creaming off their 70%.

She got 3600 odd people to pay around Ā£19 each and how cheaply it was printed wouldn't have cost more than a pound. Some might have paid for two copies and one to be donated, but still she had the luxury of ordering the exact number with next to no stock sitting around. Shipping and packing would have still left a juicy profit that most retailers could only dream of. Where did all that profit go, especially considering she said she did virtually it all herself. Didn't she sell the rights to a publisher and make more afterwards?

I'd love to see her explain how it made a loss. Even if it did take 18 months (which I doubt as copying a Nigella recipe but changing one or two ingredients isn't hard) that's a decent income for 5 years ago without much expenditure.

Agree. So obviously all families are different and the dynamics in each one work in their own unique way.

My first thought would be a huge falling out and that is why no help was forthcoming from parentals. But you would have thought that then there would have been limited contact and the message with a ā€œxā€ doesnā€™t suggest that was the case.

Then you might think Jack was doing the ā€œI need to make it on my ownā€ spiel. This would still allow for the family connection to remain and why nothing in the monetary sense came from pa H. This could fit with the narc idea in that she was better than everyone and could get out of the biggest hole EVER faster than anyone had EVER seen without any help EVER.

Tbh, given her horridness now, it is more interesting to think when did these behaviours actually begin to manifest rather than dwell on her snarky tweets. Agree with the others (and in terms of other disorders that are similar, childhood is generally when they take root) in that the fostering might have been key, but really feel that there is a missing link after school.

ETA- we also canā€™t forget the effect joining the grammar in Y9 had. The majority will have been there from Y7, having entered via the 11+ route (for that school). If she did join in Y9 with the later cohort that will have added another layer to an already damaged ego.

Donā€™t forget that on the Kickstarter, she then asked people to stump up extra for postage which some did.

I imagine it was presented as a giant wheeze at the time, just as it was on the flyers. A way to make a bit of money whilst also getting rid of your junk before the next flat move (more profitable than hiring a skip, certainly). It's only later that it turned into I WAS FORCED TO SELL EVERYTHING AND WAS LITERALLY STARVING, because Jack saw that gap in the market and discovered her niche, and that's the way her media friends will have reported a common-or-garden house sale in order to give it some sort of spin.

interesting that the big sell off birthed the idea of the crafty Bread and Jam business which was registered as a community interest company...

Was this the sale that included lightbulbs. This is the point she needed to move into her parents in one room and sort out her financials. Lots of people do it.
She should have gotten more help at this stage to some debt management. Gotten a normal 9-5 job and reliable childcare and done what millions of this country do. Didnā€™t work like that did it.

Just popped on to say that I think Tattle do a better job of identifying Jacks deep rooted issues than her psychiatrists do.
It' because all her therapists are her mates.

Just spitballing here; maybe she thought having SB would secure more inheritance from the rich grandfather when he popped his clogs. As in, a free house to home them. SB seemed to be a spectacular whim on Jack's part, seemingly thinking he would unlock so many 'freebies'in way of benefits and housing.

Coming back to the future with last night's chaos. Spotted a couple of squigs with memories earnest. The first one was replying to jack and completely ignored, but 7 likes.

In a family with that level of wealth & a few family businesses estate/succession planning would probably be a relatively open conversation (I imagine, canā€™t relate lol) so maybe she was hoping that more provisions would be made for her as a šŸ„ŗpoor single mumšŸ„ŗ and this was her way of upping the ante. The whole thing is incredibly odd, why were her siblings silent throughout this?

Her dad has a community interest company too.

The Nigella homage is Jack transcribing the R4 interview, where Nigella did indeed go on a bit.

She's such a foul little snob, you just know she bought into all that crap about single mums milking the system dry. The look on her face when reality hit must have been priceless.
