Lots of support on twitter for GPs ('My GP' is trending), mere days after Jack did a big thread slagging hers off.

I just had a thought does her kid have any outside school hobbies?

It would be nice for him if he did, these clubs encourage children to be independent and discipline outside the normal constraints and whilst encouraging socialising and fun at the same time.

I dont have much to spare but i have got my children into some outside school activities.

His dad probably takes the responsibility for this. If Jack had to juggle the responsibilities of parenting such as school pick up and drop off, after school activities, parents evening, shopping, taking him to birthday parties or dropping him round at friends houses or arranging babysitters or any of the other usual responsibilities we would be hearing non stop about the struggles of regular life. As it is we hear about her working 75 hours a day on 3 minutes sleep but never anything about actually being a parent.

That would, largely, be my experience of a working class upbringing, we had periods when money was tight and we couldn't always afford to replace cookers and things, but all of our basic needs were met. Whereas Jack's upbringing seems much more inkeeping with proper middle class. Her family could afford to send her to ballet lessons, they could afford big fancy cars, they could afford big fancy watches and they owned hotels and houses etc... Also, they could afford a house big enough to house two extra children permanently.
All true. I think my point was more that there's no shame in saying you had some nice things, rather than having to exaggerate your upbringing.

Oh, I agree with you but Jack knows that if people know how comfortable her family are at present (and always have been) she won't get their cold hard cash.

I think in the US scraping by ok is more readily considered middle class than it is in the UK aswell.

Ther is such a large gap between someone being brought up in substandard housing in a poor inner city area with insecure household income, than someone in the suburbs going to a good school but getting FSM due to low household income. And yes they can both be “poor” but it’s really not the same poverty experience.

*There. Jesus 🥕 why do you harass me so?

Precisely! There are SO many intersections that can alleviate or exacerbate your experience that it’s beyond belief the media continue to platform a middle class girl from Essex?!

The problem is few people would stoop as low as to make other people’s suffering their bread & butter so we’re stuck with Jack. 🙄 She’s been so tiresome the last few threads I can’t even have it in me to get excited about month end. This is worse than the military vehicle tit she put us through.

I concur, would happily take Tank Jack or even Bridge Jack over this, she makes me seethe.

I just wanted everyone to know that because of this thread I've had the phrase 'freezer cheese' going round and round in my head like a zillion mildly irritating bees.

Ohhhhh Louisa
Bring me freezer cheese
With an egg or three
Don't deny me please
That freezer cheese
Everybody agrees
It's what I need
A hunk of solid briiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeee

<saxophone solo>

She does have a tendency to go a little quiet after a mega bullshitathon. It’s nice of her to give us a little brek in between chaos’s tbh
