Has anyone notice that we are coming up to a big anniversary?

13 April is the aniversary of the first ever episode of Daily Kitchen live!

So may I be the first to say happy DKL Day!
As a license fee payer, I was actually her employer last year for two weeks. Time for her annual performance review. #sheworksforus

All these Blue Tickers that she converses online with are not her friends like she thinks they are. They are acquaintances at best, most she has never even seen in real life.

She says she has cooked for the likes of Mary Portas, has met countless celebrities, she has worked with many household names (no I don't mean zoflora!), and she has socialised with the media darlings at the Groucho.

However, not one of these so called friends could she ring up for a chat. Not one could she drop in for a coffee. Not one could she meet for lunch. Not one could she go shopping with. Not one would come around to hers for dinner. Not one could she see a movie with. Not one would come around for an evening and stay over. Not one could she ring for a catch up. Not one could she have a gossip with. Not one would ever ask her to do anything with them socially.

She really doesn't have any friends, never mind cleb friends.
Burning bridges has consequences-

Law is baffling. Law frauen are fab.

(what does tort mean?)
Law is a nightmare to learn but it serves you well once you do! I only covered stuff surrounding media things (like defamation, copyright, court reporting) but not tort law so maybe another, more well-versed Frau can step in here. I do know, however, that 'tort' means wrong or wrongdoing. I think negligence is an example of a tort?

ETA: I'm now thinking of chocolate torte! 😩 If Jack posts a recipe for one, we'll know she's been reading.

What has she threatened that squiggle with. Telling the truth. I’ll take you for court for saying exactly what happened.

She’s always furious if anyone says anything publicly. It’s why she hates this place. All she cares about is the patreon payments and wants nothing to do anything to make squiggles close their accounts.

Tort means a legal wrong, or something that has caused harm. For example if someone trespasses on your land and causes damage that is a tort and you are entitled to ask for damages

I think you might be right. We are always trying to see the best in her and she’s constantly disappointing us!
Oh don't get me wrong, I didn't think she'd apologise because she'd reflected and felt bad. I thought she'd reflect and think 'tit, I might get reported to the ICO, best be nice now'! Clearly I underestimated her arrogance! 🤷

‘Grunting’ 😂 are these involuntary noises?
Can’t quote you between threads but re: a night at the movies, I hope this means Tattle’s budget stretches to a red carpet?
It's such a disgraceful tactic as well. It capitalises on the fact that most people do not have the excess cash floating about to become involved with civil law cases. She uses the lawyer threat to get people to back down before she does, despite the fact that the laws of this country are freely available to read online and are explained in a straightforward manner by legal professionals in blog posts/ YouTube videos etc for the genuinely curious. She can't STAND the fact that I could say 'I think she's acted disgracefully' over orchestrating a Twitter pile-on and that would not be libelling her because it's a) clearly my honest opinion (honest opinion defence) and b) has not caused her/her company substantial loss of earnings (as any for-profit business would have to prove that a statement/s has/have caused a substantial loss of earnings as a result to damage to their reputation). If you're causing damage to your own reputation in plain sight on a public forum and most reasonable people would be able to see that, I don't think it really matters if I say I think you're a tool – you've already dug yourself a huge hole.

ETA: I'm now a well-known member! :D
Agreed. The thing is she won’t get any representation for free to fight with “her peers” eg random women on social media & tattle, but Jack’s finances are such a mess chucking £00s - low £000s at a solicitor to upset someone is nothing. The average person would then feel obliged to seek representation themselves, so have to pay that out too. Most people don’t want to essentially set fire to a grand so will just back off rather than have a solicitor send an appropriately worded rebuttal on letter headed paper. It’s the perfect silencer, and it’s horrible. She should be saving that money for SB, who will have nothing to show for his mamapapa’s media darling years other than a load of boundary crossing intrusive press cut outs.

I did a law degree 14 years ago. I haven’t a clue what a tort is. It’s a distant memory for me 😂 biggest waste of my time ever. Was NOT for me.
No no no - you shouldn't have a 😂 emoji.
You need to be traumatised by your experience, dwell upon it endlessly, blame everybody else for it being a waste of time and use it an excuse every single time you mess up - 'Madam I'm afraid I'm going to have to issue you with a parking ticket' 'I did a law degree and it was a waste of time so LEAVE ME ALONE alright?'

No, I think her thought process is “tit, I might get reported to the ICO, I’d better threaten them and make them feel sorry for me so they back down and go away” then she’s affronted when they don’t actually back down.

Lord Jesus Christ's scarf just finished me I spilled a wee bit of rosè on the table whilst hooting and fizzing 🤣 what an absolute 🛎🔚 she has been this weekend, I really hope that perfectly nice teacher chap gets told and takes heed not to engage with this utter plum any further.

Slagging teachers, threatening legal action to educators (& hypothetical former friends - the only types of friend she has are hypothetical & former probably), deploying badges white knighting smol bot arseholes paying taxes (late i expect) & hinting at cancer on top of the poor wee autistic person who must never be criticized. I can't quite get my head round how she doesn't ever see what a piss poor look this is . FOOL 🙄

At least we all know why she doesn't have friends now.

Oh my god why are you bringing this up again? LEAVE ME ALONE!!!

Nah it was my fault, I was young and fairly academic and allowed myself to be guided into a “sensible degree choice”. My GRAMMAR SCHOOL liked to say their students went on to great things, but they weren’t necessarily that great for the person. Actually had this conversation with one of my peers who went into nursing from the off. She said it was highly discouraged as not really brainy enough for the school to brag about. I certainly couldn’t remember it being something that was given to us as an option. It was all law/ medicine/ engineering and the like. Anyway, I admire anyone who has any bloody idea what they want to do at 17. I only realised what I wanted to do at 29, and even then I’m not sure what to specialise in 😂

Solicitors within reason will write what you ask them as well, they will threaten something doesn’t mean they will go through with it.

The point is with teaching, we all had experience so we can all say something relevant when she starts on one. The teachers/TAs/SL/SENCOs etc. can give more nuance obviously.

With law, the most contact I imagine most of us has had is with wills/conveyancing or family law and with the first two, it isn’t that traumatic in the grand scheme of things. When she has threatened lawyers in the past you can feel the bristles here, and the same with Essexgirl. She knows she has the upper hand because she won before and most of us won’t be seasoned barristers or solicitors who know it is all hot air. It is horrid feeling threatened like this.

Yes, in my work experience the very expensive letter was usually considered enough to achieve what the customer wanted off the other party (although this was family law)

I did some law modules for my mainly useless degree and really enjoyed it.

I loved case law, lots of little stories with proper endings, like the one about the snail in the bottle of ginger beer.
