I can only say 'mendacious' in the style of Bill and Ted.

That food last night looked truly disgusting; I am not even saying that to be a witch. There is more skill in flipping burgers than trying to use words that vaguely describe Japanese cuisine to describe that weird concoction.

ETA .... She loves this story doesn't she? But I thought in previous tellings of it, she merely *thought* about sending the teacher the book, but then didn't?

Also lol at "straight to #1 in the UK charts'.
She really does love a bit of 'needless to say, * I * had the last laugh'

No-one beats up on Jack like Jack.

This shows her distain for people who work in fast food outlets. What is wrong with "flipping burgers", it is a job, and is often a step to higher paid work. She clearly thinks that "flipping burgers" is beneath her, ergo those people that work "flipping burgers" are beneath her.

What a nasty person.
Yeah! She loves telling people on low incomes to make brown slop for 20 pounds a week, but is horrified by the idea of actually having a low income job and therefore shits on it (she's not unique regarding the latter though. Plenty of 'progressive' middle-class types like that to go around)

Agreed, she’s hugely classist.

Literal food expert Jack is my favourite.

mince fat- it just does
Maceration- rubbing kale between your fingers

And my new favourite....

yakitori- Japanese 7 spice mix

when she adds these expert explanations of what these things are I start to doubt myself thinking I have maybe misunderstood the correct terminology but each time it isn’t me it’s her. It’s pretty embarrassing.

Anyway full moon tonight and I seem to be on the mend from my Covid so I can’t wait to see what she has in store for later!

Yeah, and whenever I've run into old teachers, we usually just have a conversation between grown ups. If any memories come up, it's because I am the one reminding them, and we have a good chuckle about it (as it tends to be about what a stubborn know-it-all I was). Of course there are some really bad teachers, but JM just wants to be the Tesco variant of Julia Roberts in the clothing store from Pretty Woman.
But she actually acted out the Pretty Woman scene. Can't remember the shop (Burberry?) but they looked down their noses at the smol tattooed lesbian and said she couldn't afford it.
Then she scampered back in when she had money and 'made' the horrible shop assistant serve her and she bought TWO expensive coats.
Needless to say, she had the last laugh...

1. Nobody gets ‘struck off’ from GCSEs. Bs and Cs count in the league tables. Doctors and teachers get ‘struck off’ for being sex pests/ fiddling the books/ helping themselves to the pharmacy contents.

2. Nothing wrong with burger flipping. I have flipped burgers. Maybe Jack could flip some burgers and pay her rent.

3. Story A- didn’t happen.

4. Story B- didn’t happen.

No, I’m sure not!

I posted Squig’s comment because, as Jack would say, I love to see it!
It’s so funny how we’re all on the same page...I often find myself (softly softly) saying ‘jinx!’ when I read comments on here 🤣

Has she recently said the Mulberry bag is trashed or is that an ancient receipt? There are plenty of specialists she could send it to, that’s the whole point of ££ bags they’re meant to last a lifetime even when life happens.

Also how tf do you smash a WHISKEY bottle? They’re very thick glass, she’d have to have been hit by a speeding car to smash that?!

I want to know how long she was employed at said supermarket because nothing I have ever read from her indicates she would last long in such an environment. I worked at Iceland through my late teens to my early 20s. I was checkout staff first then duty manager and shop rep. It was HARD work (sometimes I loved it though) and the people I worked with had various attitudes and backgrounds. Some of them were condescending, bigoted arseholes towards each other and customers and oh boy...the customers themselves (my personal faves bad and good are the guy who used to take photos of me, the elderly lady who was high up in the Polish army in WWII, the man obsessed with shoplifting fruit pastilles and the guy who threw a joint of gammon at my head).
But Jack is the combined worst of my customers and the worst of my colleagues with her bullshit attitudes. We may have been many things at our branch but we were funny, smart, capable, strong and resilient and we knew everyone had a different story to tell.

You know what lads? My year 8 form teacher handed me my school photo face down and said "Your parents won't want this". I should track her down, show her how many 'likes' my last dolled up selfie got on social media and my unsolicited sex messages. That'll show her.

ETA: missed a sentence from my brain.
