From the Guardian article “It’s just the way I was raised – if there’s space at the table, shove up and make room. If you’ve got spare in your fridge, share it.”

If this was the way she was raised, and the way I’m assuming her family still are, then why was she (allegedly) sitting in an empty, cold, dark flat with a toddler and no food to feed them?
Perhaps because she’s a rampant liar.

Oh, and duck her for calling those foster kids feral.

(and duck the Guardian too for that. I read the Guardian often, but in these situations they are at their worst - not giving the mic/spotlight to those who deserve it but letting middle-class know-it-alls determine how the picture is painted while patting themselves on the back for a job well done).

M&S are going to increase the value of the £15 vouchers to £20 and have issued a shopping list and meal plan. Fair enough you could likely buy the shopping list contents cheaper elsewhere anyway but surely this is the kind of content that a writer who “specialises” on low cost “good” food ideas would have been issuing this week? Nutritious ideas of what you can do with £15 to keep the children fed.
If only someone was working on doing so from last year

It looks like she dropped the ball

And thank fk for that, what on earth would she have come up with? It's bad enough SB has to pretend to like the endless bowls of slop, she has no idea what to feed the masses!

I would like to know what kind of bills come in brown envelopes that are both so terrifying you cannot open them for six years, but are also apparently not urgent enough to have faced any consequences for ignoring them for so long.
Almost like...she’s lying

Can't bring myself to read the whole sappy article, far too early for that stomach churning bollocks. Will just say, I HATE the way she uses stories (misty eyed rhetoric?) of the foster children to earn pity points for herself. And "feral"?! Nasty bleeping cow.

Regarding the bills, no most bills don't come in brown envelopes, except for HMRC (might want to open those Jack). However, did she not once post a photo of a stack of bills and eagle eyed fraus spotted that most of them were circulars etc? So she was lying (being disingenuous)?

Oh and further to my pondering as to whether Peter has hands, I would say he does. They have size H fingers and filthy nails.

Morning you lovely people ☺

Between the Gospel According to Jack and an interview with a 30 year old man who exclusively has sex with women over 60, the Guardian has truly out Guardian’d itself this morning.

Jack's canonisation in the Guardian today is purely because some Corbyn fans had the temerity to criticize her, because if there's one thing the folk at the Guardian hate more than 'starving children', it's Jeremy Corbyn. I can see it now - the centre-left liberals clutching their pearls at the pile on instigated by those horrible far-left socialist attack dogs; quick, deploy one of our most respected journalists to churn out a fawning hagiography, that'll own 'em, no need to do any background research, Jack's back story is all over our archives anyway we lazily use her for so much. Disgraceful journalism.

How many bills come in brown paper envelopes these days? I get correspondence from HMRC in brown envelopes and not a lot else. White envelopes or (maverick) online billing.

In the napping photo is she trying to pretend she’s SO tired she fell asleep in situ rather than thinking “ooh bit tired, will lay on the sofa for a bit”? 🤨
Her poor accountant is likely gluttery howling into the wind, grasping at the cold uncaring streets of west London as all they want is that bleeping 16 digit secure authorisation code to enable them to log into their clients’ HMRC portal. 😂 they’ll be tweeting her for it before long

I'm actually very confused as to how a Guardian interview - written at this point in time - can't even ask her what she's actually been doing and in what specific way she's working with Rashford.

I'm not a UK frau. I get bills sent in envelopes...but the direct debits come out of my account whether or not I open them or not. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It doesn't make the slightest bit of difference FFS!

The Guardian has become a bit like Jack herself; everyone has their own particular moment when they went, "WTF am I reading?" For me it was the grossly inaccurate coverage of the protests in Catalunya in 2019, but every other ex-Guardian reader seems to have a different watershed moment.

I used to be a fan and still glance at some sections now, but articles like this one about Jack today make me cringe myself inside out. The tone makes it so clear that she is still their smol lickle pet povvo, and always will be.
