What this actually means is it's going to be a twitter heavy day for Jack. I'm actually quite impressed she managed to have an entire Sunday off twitter (and without any big announcements either!).
Because Sunday she pulled herself together in a military fashion and she has to make up for it today. Drama coming in.

So excited btw, my M&S multipack knickers have just been delivered (I live abroad). Sorry, normally TMI but you are all used to having more awful pics delivered to your desktop than this. Hint: food.

Now duck off.

I watched the whole of this recorded Facebook Live last night. All forty three minutes and fifty one seconds of it 😐

It was recorded during lockdown in April - halfway though DKL and just before She Left.

She talks about Louisa a few times.
A lucrative but lost deal with a tinned food company.
The burger from the bin.

If you can be bothered:

Kudos to her, she managed to get to 4 minutes 50 seconds before saying she was a single mum on benefits in a freezing cold flat. Small steps.

The Good Lord handed her more than her fair share? Wtf? She was born in the UK, she has a family, her own child, somewhere to live, healthcare, yet she is convinced in the lottery of life she is hard done by?!

Does she ever make anything that goes wrong? It is infuriating that just about everything she makes is the most delicious, best ever and it's everyone's favourite. It is never, well this one didn't work, or I liked it but no one else did. Everything she makes is perfect and is universally liked.

People on low income, or reliant on food banks, do not have the luxury of making food that people might not like, as they do not have the food to waste. Her over complicated, recipes, strange flavour combinations and slop with no texture would not be acceptable to most adults, let alone children with less adventurous tastes. But she tells everyone that her creations are loved by everyone.

This weekend I made a ginger and lime cake. It came out like a house brick. Last weeks cake was delicious, this week it was dry as sticks. I haven't wasted it, as I've used some to make a trifle, shared with my neighbours. I am lucky, whilst I am on benefits, I am not on the bread line and so can afford for things to go wrong. However, even I do not like throwing food away.

There's no way I would attempt one of her recipes if I had to guarantee my children would eat it, especially if there is no other food to give them. I would imagine most children would turn their noses up at most of her creations.

I love overnight oats but you do not need to be putting anything in a blender to make them nice 😂 Oats, banana, soy milk, squeeze of maple syrup and frozen blueberries. Mix, leave overnight and voila. I also add chia seeds but appreciate how expensive they are and are not essential.

I've never understood the need to make healthy items sounds like desserts. It's never going to taste like a carrot cake so why bother?!
Fellow overnight oats lover here. Never, ever used a blender to make them. Cheap, nutritious, easy. Needs a recipe as much as cornflakes do.

Blimey, that random composition of tats.
Ridiculous how she always presents herself as cute. I can't see anything swollen though...because...LIE?
It was a typo she meant “sorry I haven’t facetuned the duck out of my face to make me look like a 12 year old pixie boy”

Just discovered this facebook post when searching her mentions of deep fried food...

To a comment doubting the 'lost 4kg in 8 days claim' she replies 'Nope I definitely meant kg - been tracking it on MyFitnessPal, and even shows a screenshot from her MyFitnessPal profile in another comment.

I dislike her. Claims she's had an ed and wants others to walk on eggshells around her yet doesn't GAF about triggering others.

Also, that's an undeclared affiliate link.
duck, that's disgusting. She's so, so, so, so wrong. It's dangerous and she should know better.

On a different note, I love the 'neat loaf' (ha, yes, SO American) recipe in the Peaceful Palate (Jennifer Raymond). It's old-school, but it's simple, cheap, nutritious and works every time. It's the kind of recipe Jackie aspires to, but just can't pull off because she makes everything needlessly complicated. There is def room for this type of family cooking, but her stuff ain't it.

A book that costs at least £20+ and she has two copies of. A book that, for the less well off cancer patients in my hospital, they photocopy requested recipes for the patients after they have had a browse, whilst they sit there on chemo drips.

I know we all have our red lines when it comes to Jack...some it’s the Veganish grift, others the cat cruelty, yet more the appropriation of mental health issues and diagnoses. For me, it’s always going to come down to her twatting about with cancer. It really isn’t something to appropriate - in fact, I would wager it’s her most disgusting cap she pops on from time to time.

I would never do it, of course because she genuinely isn’t worth it, and certainly not worth the petrol, but I am sorely tempted on occasion to go down, knock on her door and show her some pictures of my beloveds weight loss, explain how the chemo ruins appetite, the mouth ulcers that require specialist treatments and mouthwash. The teeth issues from vomiting and struggling to brush teeth properly. Fighting the complete lack of appetite for even the nicest of foods. And the overall dread and fear they pervades every aspect of your waking life.

I dislike her.
It’s strange what triggers different people. Coopers nose started me, the kitten nearly finished me, I am a dotty old cat lady.
but I surprised myself at just how angry I was about taking that poor ladies winter fuel payment.🤯 I stomped around on here like an angry bogart.for days. I even contacted her publisher.

Just watched all of this, idk why. How did we miss it at the time? How did you find it @Marmalade Atkins? Anyway, not much to report other than that she really loves the sound of her own voice (again idk why) and that at the end, when she's showing viewers a picture of Cooper she somehow manages to forget she has a son. "He [Cooper] is the love of my life, don't tell the missus".

God, I cannot even articulate how much I hate seeing spoons plonked into the food in her photos.

Why do it!? It doesn't make the food look and better, and just looks messy. Eeedeuuuurrrrggghh!
This is her way of signalling THIS IS FOR EATING, lest her offerings be mistaken for postmodern art projects, bodily waste or general detritus. Our Jack has a forensic understanding of semiotics.

I actually give BB credit to deal with her and her amateur dramatics. I honestly couldn't. I am all for sympathy if the person is truly sick but if they are just huffing and moaning at very slight ache that would piss me off.
