i actually feel like he’s gonna feel really stifled now that he’s at city. like i get that he has to present himself in a certain way, but to have SO much shit for going out drinking after a win makes me sad

He’s obviously his parents golden child and he’s probably never been or will get a bollocking from his parents to knock it off

He does do some dickish things but I like to think some of the good stuff he does cancels it out. He does lots for charity especially for poorly children

A purposeful distraction from the dominatrix stuff maybe? Throw Phil and Jack under the bus to take the heat of whoever is seeing the rhythmless dom JS

Apparently this interview was done on that morning after the night out. To be fair we all thought he looked so rough here!! No wonder Pep benched him.
I think we've all turned up to work in this state at some point or another

I wonder if he'd already had a bollocking because he makes such a big thing of how you can't over indulge on Christmas Day when you have a match on Boxing Day

Lol City’s PR team would be the stupidest one out there if they sacrificed the beloved angelic homeboy and the 100 million pound dollar baby just to cover up the kinky stuff, which had no impact on the performance and is not illegal in the end
But at least it cannot be Jack and Phil, unless they went after the party to her (Jack’s face looks like that tbf)
Hope it is John so I can get the ick or not

We will never get the John ick, it is impossible

Is a dominatrix a hooker? Do they get paid for services? I’m not sure, I’m not up and with it and what is pegging? I keep seeing that word, A new word for shagging ? I don’t understand the younger lingo

yeah, she'll be a hooker. Pegging is when the man is done up the arse with a dildo or strap on

Oh that’s why he mentioned the girlfriend in the interview, Sasha was pissed off at him for his antics from the night before

He has never seemed happy, imo, since his move and his game is suffering for it and now
pep calling him out is not going to sit well a lot of fans already giving him grief after every match he needs to get his act together sharpish

I do sympathise with Jack, what is the point in earning all of this money and having the means to go out and live the high life if you don’t do it… I guess it’s football or living a bit of a life and it’s a very difficult balance for him

It's a learning curve for him. Playing for a top team and England bring pressures and expectations that he isn't used to. We all want him to thrive and the ball's in his court.

I have a lot of sympathy for him too. I think he's basically a decent person who wants to stay out of trouble, but there in the moment he's so thoughtless, it doesn't occur to him that something is a terrible idea until he's already done it and is facing the consequences.

And let's be honest, most of us have probably turned up to work a little worse for wear after a big night out. The difference is the nature of his job, the discipline of his boss and the way everything is so public.

Jack needs to socialise or he'll be miserable. But he also needs to cool it with the risk-taking/thrill-seeking behaviour because that could ruin him.

I really hope he can knuckle down for the next few years and make the most of the opportunities he's got. He's so talented, he could be a star for both City and England. But he could also just throw it all away.

In all honesty I got sacked from a job for turning up still absolutely mortal from the night before.. but I was 19 not 26 Some times ya need to just have a mad one, let go abit. Like people have said it’s just his line of work that flags it up more than usual .. but we’ve all done it
