I definitely think there’s some revisionist history happening in terms of the way L currently views her friendship with J. Now that L is no longer friends with J, she is looking back on their friendship and interpreting events that she might’ve actually been okay with at the time as bullying. For example, the back and forth between her and J was once seen as harmless banter but is now seen as J being condescending. We all do it to some extent but I don’t think L has the self-awareness to realise what she’s doing. I’m sure there were many times J was patronising, I noticed it too, but it probably wasn’t as frequent as L is making it out to be.

Absolutely. I kind of hate the way people keep making out that J had it rough putting up with all of L’s shit. J chose to be friends with L and stay friends with her. Yes, they had a business together which complicates things but at the end of the day they’re both adults and they are equally responsible for setting/accepting boundaries as friends/business partners. Being in an unhealthy relationship does not necessarily justify dealing with that relationship in an unhealthy manner.

I actually enjoyed itgalz today surprisingly! thought Pete was funny i do think L needs to work on her podcast structure though she does tend to Ramble, she is at her best when chatting with someone else. Also i swear every week L says she doesn’t check tattle anymore but then said she checked after her post about J lol

Judging by past interactions Rob is defo closer to J - not sure when exactly this was recorded, thought it was interesting though that Rob (who strikes me as someone on top of the goss) didn’t know any level of detail on the fallout. Now not that maybe he’d want to spill on such a public level but genuinely got the feeling he didn’t know.

I know either of the the girls aren’t close to Rob but would have thought it would have spread between those various friendship groups. Good to see some level of media coverage on it anyway.

I think you are bang on here and I share the same opinion.

Looking at their friendship, I think the girls are going and have been going in opposite directions and sometimes that happens in life. It’ll take a long time for both of them to process what happened and get some real perspective on it. For L, I see this happening and I’m sorry to say but after her current relationship with that guy Dave ending. From a selfish pov, I miss the old/pre Dave Lindsay…I know there’s lots of people here giving out about L but her videos early last year like Mary Harney were seriously gas.

I feel like it’s an unpopular opinion to say here nowadays but she is genuinely funny (not in a laughing at her kind of way), her characters and comic timing are really good - I miss her spontaneity which has been sucked away through her new relationship. During the first lockdown her videos, sketches and Insta lives were entertaining. So, so refreshing compared to the standard Insta huns. Now that has all but dissipated. Bring back the old Lindsay!

I suppose L is going through some changes. Old L was a drinker and didn't really address her anxiety correctly so new found sobriety does change a person

She's still with the fella too so

This made me lol cos only recently a few of us realised TikTok is the only thing we have someone we fell out with on and don’t have blocked cos no one things to go unfollow on TikTok or even remembers who you follow cos you’re just on the FYP all the time
