Also I find it desperately sad that she has no actual life - no friends to speak of, stays in the house 99% of the time.. her birthday consisted of her taking pictures in that sack of a dress
Agreed, her life seems super depressing (even wayyy before the lockdown). Doesn’t see anyone outside of joe and her immediate family. Also all the birthday balloons and decorations are so cringe... like cmon girl you’re 28 not 8.
She is one person who should really get a job to fill her days and do YouTube on the side. She might as well, she rarely posts anyway
I know we’ve been in lockdown but in general she seems very secluded from the reality of day to day life. Aside from the odd dog walk or takeaway coffee run.
I had a nosey on her exes Facebook and since splitting with Alix he seems to have travelled a lot and been to some cool places with his now girlfriend. It makes me wonder how much she is struggling behind closed doors.
I have been through traumatic loss and I’m very much a homebody but I still find happiness in socialising and getting out there, even if I have to push myself sometimes.
I worry how long she will shut herself away, spending her days ordering from Zara and wearing big floaty dresses around the house.

she has said she doesn’t like flying, so she probably held him back. Sounds like he is doing well.

Something else I’ve noticed about Alix is that she doesn’t seem to have any friends that are hers. When she and Joe would go to the pub, it was always with his friends to watch soccer. She never mentions doing anything with her friends, away from Joe...or even with Joe. I kind of feel bad for him for having to constantly keep her company and entertained. She’s that girlfriend who’s dating one of the guys in your friend group who is always around, but doesn’t really make the effort to hang out with anyone when her BF isn’t around.

It’s not a flattering dress in any way but at least it’s not greige. It’s nice to see some colour on her occasionally.
Yes, the pink is a nice change and the colour looks great on her. Beige does her no favours at all. The style and shape of the dree however is dire.
I cannot get over how she thought this was a good thing to wear, and then SHOW TO 1000’s of people on the internet.....
It COULD NOT be more unflattering. What is going on with her style? She always wears unflattering outfits but they are generally too small pieces (trousers usually!) but this is obscene!!!
Also who needs a ridiculous frock to celebrate their bday at home w their partner in lockdown?! Just bizarre.
I’m guilty of buying quite a few bits since lockdown started....think it’s my way of dealing with things!!!

Yes fully aware it’s a fashun dress it’s still all a big continuation from ‘the Zara dress’ of last year. As Alix pointed out she’s 28 now I’m afraid she’s old enough to realise she can’t just wear anything she wants. A curvy (in the proper sense not another word for fat) busty figure can’t take a ton of volume in a dress shirt or anything else as your bust sticks out quite a bit and the fabric follows and it all looks v tent like compared with a small busted person, though I can see how those smocky dresses must be tempting they look v comfy
It looks like the losing “look” on an episode of Project Runway.
It is hideous, although it does look very comfy. It would be very cosy to wear on Christmas day after eating a huge lunch and snuggling up on the sofa to watch a good film. The Anne Boleyn headband is awful too.
