On the other hand, I've been reading this thread, it seems like every worker doesn't have the right to paid holidays, bank holidays or to be sick and have day off. How peculiar?! Is there not a minimum of paid holidays and social security to pay your sickness days?

32 years old. 3 years of uni plus 2 training years to do my job. Paid off my student loan last year. 65k base, 6k car, and minimum 15k annual bonus so about c.86k all in, give or take. The perks are good and the main draw as a female is 6 months fully paid maternity. 28 days hol plus bank hols. Private healthcare etc. My partner is in same industry and same age, no student loan debt as he trained on the job and he’s on £120k. We live on the outskirts of london.

I’m a freelance designer and it depends how popular/successful my designs are. My lowest year was $82,000 and my most successful $194,000. US dollars, I’m in the US.
Staying somewhat in finance to try and make something of my exams but maybe a less stressful area. Good luck with the teaching! Never too late to change career path
