Accidentally fell pregnant with number 1 and number 2 and 3 were the result of 10 years ttc and numerous rounds of IVF

Straight away which I know I'm very lucky. I have had 2 early miscarriages which was hard. I had been tracking my ovulation and period cycles etc for a few months before hand which I think really helped.x

Been trying for about a year, I won’t qualify for IVF because of my BMI so letting nature take its course while trying to lose a bit of weight too. I know people who have conceived first month of trying and others who have suffered so much heartache.
I was the same as you. Best of luck on your journey ❤

I've had one pregnancy and one child, and it was as immediate. I got off birth control, had my period, timed when I thought I'd be ovulating, and was pregnant when I tested two or three weeks after ovulation.

I expected to have problems because my periods we're always so painful it required days of school, visits to the nurse/doctor etc. Extreme pain like that makes me throw up, I couldn't eat or drink anything every month for the first two days of my period. I would throw up water too- hence I couldn't go to school and usually ended up at the doctors office for dehydration.

My doctor eventually put me on the pill to ease my symptoms and I thought because I went on the pill at such a young age, I'd have problems.

There were no problems, so there's hope. Good luck. xox
Exactly the same here. I was on the pill for 10 years from age 14. Came off it, had one period, not even trying just came off it to let nature take its course. Conceived 2 weeks after that one period & had my son 7 months later. Prem baby, not a nice pregnancy, pre eclampsia, was advised to have no more & didn't ever feel like repeating the whole experience anyhow.

I had pre eclampsia too, my daughter was born at 32+6

I have son who is nearly 7 with my ex partner.

Myself and my partner have been trying for about a year. We ended up going to see a fertility specialist ( Mostly down to my own insecurities and paranoia) who told us there was nothing wrong with either of us and that I should stop taking tranexamic tablets.

Part of me feels like it won’t happen and I don’t deserve to have another child because I’m not a good enough mum. ( Years of emotional abuse will always make me doubt what i deserve)

Second cycle with my first pregnancy which miscarried

Found out I was pregnant again 3 months later with current pregnancy (now 18 weeks)

I was 30 when we started trying. I used cycle tracking and ovulation sticks from the start (just the cheap ones off Amazon). You can get obsessed with peeing on sticks though, I warn you!

2nd -4 months
3rd - surprise baby was preventing babies 😂

We have just decided for me to stop taking my pill (been on about 10 years). We’re not “trying” trying but just not being careful and if it happens it happens. But then I start freaking out thinking what if it takes months and months or years and years so maybe we should actively try now but then also what if u get pregnant first time am I ready?! I feel so stressed already. Does everyone take folic acid? Will any supermarket one do?

4 years trying, one cycle of IVF. Baby boy will be one in 3 weeks and we have two Frosties waiting to be put back in probably end of next year. They classify it as Unexplained infertility But I don’t ovulate.

I’ve been extremely lucky, 2 months with my first, only tried once with my second as he was away a lot and got pregnant, both in my very early 20’s. and my third was another one time and caught which as an older mum (35+) I think is unusual

As long as it is 400 micrograms then it is fine. Start taking it now and then up to 12 weeks when pregnant. There are some conditions where you will need a higher dose, I've attached the NHS page for you

You will also require vit d too 10 micrograms) . You can take a generic multi vitamin but be careful to make sure these are suitable for pregnancy and do not contain vitamin a.

Boots do a combined Folic Acid and Vitamin D ☺

I came off the pill when we moved into our new house (after being on contraception solidly for 11 years), and 5 months later I fell pregnant. It was quite quick considering my fiancé works away and only comes home on weekends, and we weren't actively trying, just more "seeing how things go" so we didn't have sex constantly every weekend. It was probably just once or twice max. I'll be interested to see how long it takes me to fall pregnant the second time around.

I was not careful at all, or used any contraception and I did sleep around quite often, I really wanted a baby quite young, from the age of about 16, and had briefly even "tried" with a boy I was seeing. He went onto have a baby with another girl so I always assumed the problem played with me and I was absolutely gutted. It played a big part towards my poor mental health as a teenager. I went onto getting really serious with a lad when I was 19, again I wasnt careful but 6 months in, we decided we would actively try for a baby, 18 months later, it still hadn't happened, we got married, and decided to get a puppy together instead when we returned from our honeymoon - I never came on my period that month and was pregnant with my first very much wanted child, I was 21.

After I had my first I suffered, as I had fallen out of love with my husband already, as a seperated couple, I only slept with him once one night in about a year after seperating (still cohabiting but different rooms), it was revolting and it knocked me sick, but I felt obliged to one night when he came home drunk and I was pregnant from that one night.

18 months later, I was pregnant again with my 2nd husbands baby. I didnt try but again wasnt particularly careful, I came off the pill as it played havoc with my mood swings and it happened straight away within the first few months we were together. I didnt take any contraception and didnt fall pregnant with my 2nd husband again in the 4 more years we were together. So we assumed an operation I had, made me infertile.

10 years down the line I fell pregnant again. Completely new partner, 5 months of sleeping together. It was very unexpected. I hadnt been careful at all after leaving my 2nd husband as I assumed I was infertile. I had a high sexual appetite and slept with quite a few people too. I was also in a relationship before him for 2 years and did not get pregnant, even though he claimed he had "superspunk" and would, I even let him try to prove my point and nothing. But my current partner now did, like I said within months of being together, exactly 7 months after we had our son, I fell pregnant despite religiously taking Cerelle every day. Sadly I miscarried in may. We got our heads round having another baby and would like to try again in the new year.
