Accidentally fell pregnant with number 1 and number 2 and 3 were the result of 10 years ttc and numerous rounds of IVF
I was the same as you. Best of luck on your journeyBeen trying for about a year, I won’t qualify for IVF because of my BMI so letting nature take its course while trying to lose a bit of weight too. I know people who have conceived first month of trying and others who have suffered so much heartache.
Exactly the same here. I was on the pill for 10 years from age 14. Came off it, had one period, not even trying just came off it to let nature take its course. Conceived 2 weeks after that one period & had my son 7 months later. Prem baby, not a nice pregnancy, pre eclampsia, was advised to have no more & didn't ever feel like repeating the whole experience anyhow.I've had one pregnancy and one child, and it was as immediate. I got off birth control, had my period, timed when I thought I'd be ovulating, and was pregnant when I tested two or three weeks after ovulation.
I expected to have problems because my periods we're always so painful it required days of school, visits to the nurse/doctor etc. Extreme pain like that makes me throw up, I couldn't eat or drink anything every month for the first two days of my period. I would throw up water too- hence I couldn't go to school and usually ended up at the doctors office for dehydration.
My doctor eventually put me on the pill to ease my symptoms and I thought because I went on the pill at such a young age, I'd have problems.
There were no problems, so there's hope. Good luck. xox
I had pre eclampsia too, my daughter was born at 32+6Exactly the same here. I was on the pill for 10 years from age 14. As long as it is 400 micrograms then it is fine. Start taking it now and then up to 12 weeks when pregnant. There are some conditions where you will need a higher dose, I've attached the NHS page for youWe have just decided for me to stop taking my pill (been on about 10 years). We’re not “trying” trying but just not being careful and if it happens it happens. But then I start freaking out thinking what if it takes months and months or years and years so maybe we should actively try now but then also what if u get pregnant first time am I ready?! I feel so stressed already. Does everyone take folic acid? Will any supermarket one do?
Boots do a combined Folic Acid and Vitamin DAs long as it is 400 micrograms then it is fine. Start taking it now and then up to 12 weeks when pregnant. There are some conditions where you will need a higher dose, I've attached the NHS page for you
