Didn't she have some marvellous councelling sessions? Surely those must have cured her and improved her mood right...? 🤣

It would not surprise me if she puts the TV on to avoid messing up the house. And I agree, she must thing its a huge deal if the house isnt tidy 24/7. But how can you be with kids?

Why is she so insistent all of a sudden to highlight the fact that ash vapes? Posting twice in a row what’s in his pockets? Very bizarre.. I wonder if she still vapes herself.
Maybe “tradie wife” is going to be her next thing

We potty trained at New Year and by day 5 we had no accidents and hadn’t had an accident in about 5ish weeks! So definitely is not like how she described, for us anyway!
We also still use a pull up for night time, would rather that than change sheets in the night!
It can vary for everyone but it took my LG about 4 days to crack the basics and any accidents we had were more misses of not getting to the toilet quick enough. Within 2 weeks it was as if day nappies never existed. It does take some kids a bit of time to adjust getting used to under pants but even then it only takes a day or two for them to adjust. We did have a minor regression about 4 months in where she would say "I need a wee" but then go right there but that only lasted maybe a week. 8 months later and we only rely on night nappies and can get away with only carrying one pair of spare clothing (though I carry more just in case)
😅) and even then not had to use them! You have to be committed and really responsive when they say they need to go, which Shan probably hasn't been. Pretty sure she started potty training well before my LG started too. I know it's not a competition but it shouldn't take that long to still not be mostly accident free.

The oh crap book is what we used for daytime training and really recommend it. My biggest tip is when they do have an accident, don't make it a big deal and try not make any loud noises as that can make them think they're doing something wrong and can lead to them holding it or going to hide and do it.
This is so re-assuring to hear! I would take your lot advice any day rather than Shan's! Will look at the book too :)

I'm really passionate about aerospace engineering too. I have never done a degree (or ay type of course) in the subject, or spoken to any advisors or experts. But I am very passionate. I have however watched loads of TV shows and youtube videos on the topic.

Would you trust me to give you advice as to how to make a rocket?

Not defending her (because I'd hate to do that), but there is nothing wrong with saving for your child's future. In fact it has been a criticism of Shan that has been discussed in previous posts how she has never mentioned G's savings.

In this day and age, unless you are loaded, if you want your kids to have a good education, or even a down-payment for a house in the future you have to start saving for them now. I don't think putting £80 aside a month is a lot of money, but I am sure that depends on each family.

She chooses not to go on trips, and I don't think that's out of lack of funds, but lack of a personality.
Yes I know their is nothing wrong with saving for your child’s future, but I don’t think that should not be in place of spending it on their actual childhood and depriving them memories/taking them nice places when you can afford to do so (maybe I should of said that in the initial post) We manage do both so i’m more than sure she will be able to do that too, which she absolutely doesn’t. As I said I haven’t watched the vlog and don’t intend to so don’t know how much she is saving but just my opinion.

She's just posted a reel about what she spent in May. So because they had to get a locksmith out and that was paid from the joint expenses, she then had to use HER OWN MONEY to cover groceries that would have normally come out of the joint budget. What the actual F?!?! I'm surprised she didn't take the locksmith money out of George's savings seeing as it was apparently "his fault" the locksmith had to be called out 🙄
Why are they not both coming from the joint expense pot? I missed the whole locksmith thing.

Precisely my thoughts. She must have had some for G but maybe different kitchen cabinets? But either way, she only did this to get the money from the affiliate link. That's about it. She probably got better recommendations outside Amazon, but if she posts those she doesn't make a profit.
She's had that kitchen long enough to have put child locks back on for George though so your right, it's clearly to get a kickback from her ✨affiliate like✨ 🤢

That does seem late. My youngest was late to walk (17 months) and talk (over 2) but she was rolling by 5 months
Same! My youngest was an early talker but did not walk until 17 months as well. But rolling was also around 4-5 months.
---
If Halle isn't even rolling yet, it basically means she has very little trunk stability. That's something tummy time is really beneficial for. Shan claims she does tummy time but if Halle genuinely isn't reaching those developmental stages, it basically shows us she hasn't done enough or any actual tummy time.

My LG never crawled and went staight to cruising and walking. But then about 3 months after walking she decided she wanted to crawl crawl 😂
That's kind of where I was going with it. It feels as if she just isn't getting much tummy time. Whenever she features Halle she is in that carried or laying down!

What age was your LG rolling though?

hope she’s taken George to the doctor or a&e if the screaming is as bad as she is making out and has actually been going on for that long and hasn’t just decided for herself that it’s growing pains.
I haven't listened to that post as I don't have my headphones in. But like everything that comes out her mouth, Shan knows best. 🙄

Poor George.

I've only looked at Liv's content once out of curiosity. I hated all that she posted as she uses her kids for klout and disguises it as 'raising awareness about SEN' (bs) but didn't realise she was self diagnosed.

For the record I am ADHD and fully diagnosed by a psychiatrist. My dad has it and I think my eldest may have inherited it but too soon to tell as she is only 2. It really annoys me when people throw the term around without fully understanding the end-to-end symptoms. It can be really debilitating.

Shan's short attention span is due to her spending way too much time on social media, nothing else. From what I know of her I'd sooner diagnose her with autisim spectrum rather than adhd.
I can totally understand how frustrating it must be for you and other who have an actual diagnosis and then these influencers jump on the bandwagon like it's some sort of trend without actually being diagnosed when really they have no idea! Liv talks about it in almost every vlog yet has mentioned before how she's never actually had a diagnosis. Seriously annoys me!

My daughter undid her belt once while I was driving a busy road and I’m not proud to say I shouted big time (it scared me so much) she’s not used to hearing me talk to her that way and cried but touch wood she’s never done it again it shocked her so much. I tell her the car won’t start without seat belts on while putting mine on. I’d also never let her strap herself in when belts have to go properly on car seat she can help of course but did Shan expect George to do up his own seatbelt?!

I've just done a quick search and Liv doesn't appear to have a tattle thread. That makes me think she can't be that terrible or super problematic, especially as she has 82k followers. I mean I could be wrong but having a tattle thread to me is definitely a sign you are crap. 😅

Shan commented on fabandelle’s latest reel and it made me feel so bad for her, as much as fabandelle have absolutely lost the plot lately they seem to have such a good relationship and I think Shan must see that and feel shit that she doesn’t.

Re the latest stories - a footless onsie would’ve been much more appropriate than zoomed in videos of halle’s legs for thousands and thousands of people to see.

This is disgusting - saying her son is emotionally manipulating her?! The levels she is going to for views and attention are vile. Poor George might find all of this when he's older, rather than seeing things that say how much his mum loved him, all he will see is that she thought he was emotionally manipulative, difficult etc...poor poor child.
This is how I always feel about her. In real life I truly don't know any mums that speak about their children like this. Not even those that actually did have Post Partum Depression (unlike Shan who faked it because she probably had the wrong expectations on motherhood) talk like this about their kids.
---
If she thought she had ppd in the newborn days why not address it then? Why wait until H is 7 months old? Ohh yeah, because she wasn't offered free therapy, unless she got it on the nhs but there's no benefit for her then. She's using ppd to make a profit and it makes me sick, she's fucking vile.
She likes self-diagnosing herself for likes/profit/sympathy. So far she's had infertility, hypermobility and PDD. Yet to see proof that she had a specialist formally diagnose her with any of those.

As someone that has had both secondary infertility (we had to have IVF for our second-born) and formally diagnosed with hypermobility, I find it really insulting that she is pretending or thinks she "might" have these.

Yea, betteryou do the kids bath salts, lotions, oils etc so she should be using those. You absorb magnesium better through your skin apparently
I use the lotion daily on my legs as get terrible irritable leg syndrome whether it’s a placebo or not it does help a bit. Sadly not gifted though

I honestly don't know how Shan can deal with no bedtime routine every single night. My daughter fell asleep just before dinner last night and I had to bribe her awake with an ice lolly 😂 her baby brother still wakes in the night and I'm expecting baby number 3 so I'm exhausted, no way am I messing with bedtime even for one night 😂
