BORING ALERT: the Duchy of Cornwall was created to provide the direct heir to the throne an income to support them and their family. It therefore stays with the Prince of Wales title (I'm not sure there's ever been a Princess of Wales who wasn't married in/direct heir - Elizabeth II didn't get it by all accounts)Ah! thanks for that.
