Jeff Stelling will be sorely missed on SS. How wonderful that he actually spoke out about people who have suffered cruelly from untreated entrenched and relentless MH distress when you get self-entitled selfish rich people using the MH card as a shield when their behaviours are challenged .Proffering the "suicidal ideation" threat to gain attention and sympathy is just the lowest of the low in my opinion.Please feel free to ignore the following off topic rant about mental health - after reading that Saddiq Khan has also said he has PTSD:
I don’t want to knock anyone with mental health issues; I’ve struggled with low mood for which I’ve never been able to get help, for years.
But it does seem, more and more, that people are using their mental health as a shield whenever their popularity plunged, or they get called out for bad behaviour, or want to build a victim narrative around themselves.
Sorry, but it’s not on.
And often it waters down the whole debate around mental heath - turning into trendy badge of honour rather than something that millions of people are battling in silence, without access to real help, on a daily basis.
I don’t know if anyone on here will have heard of Jeff Stelling.
He fronts a show called Soccer Saturday at the weekends.
He spoke out during yesterday’s show about the absolutely dire state of affairs around treatment of eating disorders.
He spoke from the heart, and he spoke the truth of the situation for people in the real world who need help and don’t get it (not those who have access to the best mental health practitioners money can buy but still moan that no one helps them)
I hate when people like the gruesomes and Khant try to ally themselves with the rest of us by saying, look, we suffer too.
Well yes, you might, but you can buy help whilst telling everyone else to talk to a friend

My husband has sleep apnoea and a distrust of cats. One night he launched out of bed with such speed it frightened me awake and I didn’t know what was going on. New kitten had started shinning up the CPAP hose and it had pulled it further off his face until new kitten let go and it twanged his face. CPAP works great still - no cats in the bedroom now though.

40 year olds should be at the point where they're looking out for their elderly parent, not the other way round.
Charles can offer them a room in Buck House from time to time, but he can't "buy" Met protection any more than Hazza can.
If you're in the US, surely ex-Secret Service is about the best a celebrity can get. And Hazza's apparently paying for and getting that. If it didn't work as expected, it's not KC3's problem, nor financial obligation.
Why do some people in the media still insist on "babying" a grown man? I doubt they'd ever demand the same consideration for William.

She calls everyone by their nickname as it denotes intimacy. However it’s an easy shot as it doesn’t matter what their relationship actually is, or what that personally actually wants to be known as. It’s fake and a way of wielding control.

Here's why:
Shahrukh Khan and his family are targetted a lot for being a Muslim-Hindu family (markedly Hindu regime, he married a Hindu girl even though he's Muslim which falls under their category of 'love jihad'), and he's riiiich so everyone wants a bite. Bollywood has a lot of notorious links and it's pretty murky and SRK is no angel, but these false rumours have added another dimension to his family's harassment. Playing with lives here.
With home gym equipment like treadmills and cycles being as relatively inexpensive as they are now, even many middle class homes have one now. Proper home gyms are quite common amongst the wealthy, and you're right, most of them have personal trainers coming to their homes.
The only exceptions are when they go to the gym to be papped (in the case of celebs) or to use specialised equipment, or to socialise/find a spouse or a hook-up (I went for 3 months, have lots of stories

To me they don’t sound like any couple with kids five years in, they sound like a separated couple leading their own lives and barely crossing paths! I doubt Smegs gives a tit as there is only one great love of her life - Smegs!

1. There is something off about the ILBW posture on the "chase". We have seen celebrities being chased for pictures and they are hiding their faces, putting their hair in front of them. The ILBW is not using her fake extensions to hide herself and she even turns her head to the side where they are photographing them;
2. For the past years, and specially in Whaaaaagh, Hazno has been claiming he is a soldier, a brave courageous one, boasting about how many people he killed in action. But then, people with cameras - not guns - on BIKES (while he is on a huge black SUV), scare the sh*t out of him, make him completely incapable of react on a wise way (finding a hotel parking lot; not ditching the black sun's for a yellow cab, etc);
3. Isn't it funny how the ILBW and husband try to make her "The People's Duchess", but then they do nothing for the people, they rarely spend time with "the people", there were only paparazzi waiting for them at Hertz, and the only people that defend them are over privileged celebrities with a dodgy purpose?

I have PTSD and was diagnosed very early on in its recognition, around 20 years ago. I trialled a VERY new therapy at the time which is EMDR and it saved my life/saved me from myself. There is help out there, and it’s good. I acknowledge that it’s not as quick to be provided as perhaps it should be but there are 1000s of ‘me’ who also volunteer and listen and share our experiences in private groups and forums because when you’ve hit rock bottom and your mind is starting to off you, you would NEVER let a single soul suffer if there was even a tiny hope you could show them it will pass and they are worth life.
Put it in bold or it may get missed when looking for the winning suggestion.
