What I was trying to say but got distracted is that both Piers and Meghan have provoked anti-Brit sentiment. So they're similar in that way. Piers about the army and Meghan about racism.

I have lived near that road junction for about 30 years, between that one and the next junction along on that Cromwell Road there are (and always have been) accidents there on an almost monthly basis. It is a nasty piece of road, three fast lanes in either direction but in a built up area so people are always trying to cross it on footKay Burley on Sky has just said something about one of Sophie's motorbike escorts knocked over an elderly woman yesterday... (the lady is still in hospital)

Lady C’s Diana books are the best I’ve read and certainly by far the best she’s written because Di gave her extensive interviews so they’re first hand evidence. She’s very fair and obviously liked Di a lot personally but they were truly eye opening for me on the private Diana behind the PR facade.
Half the world is too lazy these days to bother fact checking anything. They read, accept at face value, get wound up and move on, but with the completely incorrect ‘facts’ stuck in their brain. I saw someone the other saying wasn’t it hideous that KCIII owned a third of the world’s land - all these idiots promptly posted agreeing that it was completely unacceptable! How do you fight such moronic ignorance?!!

You can't fight with them, but you can make sure your friends, family, etc., don't fall for them.
If one is happy to publicly picture themselves as idiot, it's their choice.

I noticed during covid they always had that Nicola Thorpe, who had a bit part in Coronation Street for a while, on giving her opinion as if she was some sort of moral crusader, jeez she annoyed the hell out of me. people give way to much credit to the media ‘luvvies’ you just have to watch some of them on the celebrity quiz shows to see just how utterly clueless some of them are!!!!
