I don’t think he insisted it was removed at all. There were conversations with Diana happening behind the scenes and he was part of it all. I don’t think he really wanted her to keep PoW but seemed to have no issue with the HRH. She’d been offered the HRH in her own right by him and HM but because Di was obsessed with keeping PoW, she jumped the gun to try and force their hands. As she clearly told Lady C, she bizarrely thought a title of her own was a demotion rather than a practically unique in history promotion. For someone who came from the aristo world, thats a strange lack of understanding.

I’m not sure why the Burkes person is saying loss of HRH wasn’t protocol because it absolutely was as far as general aristo titles went. You don’t get to keep the all important The when you divorce a Duke, etc. And royal divorce, well there was no precedent. Ignoring Henry VIII, KCIII’s generation basically were the first. George IV had tried to divorce Caroline but been denied. Anne divorcing Phillips didn’t count as he didn’t have a title anyway. So the Yorks were the only precedent and she got the same as Sarah.

By many accounts, Di was an utter nightmare through the divorce process, playing tricks, demanding ridiculous stuff, threatening to release the false gay scandal tape she’d fooled the mentally vulnerable Smith into. And yet she is still seen as the poorly done to victim in it all, when actually I think the Queen and Charles were just doing their best to manage a horrendous mess.

I really recommend Lady C’s Di book. Di had initially wanted Lady C to basically be her Morton, so gave her hours of interviews. In the end, Lady C refused to publish the false tale Di was spinning so Di went to Morton instead. But it means Lady C’s Diana books are all on first person evidence. She’s a big Diana fan in many ways and generous about her many good qualities but is also very fair about her faults and issues and just how hard she was to deal with.

Also if we’re going down this road (forced into surrogacy by HMTLQ), they’ve spent the last four years going on about their children being mixed race, the royal racist (sorry unconscious biasist) worrying about skin colour, titles not being given due to skin colour etc. but what, really the kids were white because borne of surrogate with donor (white) eggs? This isn’t a get out for them, mind you they are so mental maybe they would try it.

She’s a psychopath. So weird that he can‘t see it. But then he’s out of his face most of the time and thick as fucking shit.

Not much new here but here goes.
The Ho is everywhere putting it about. The Markle family to appear en masse on Sunday with unseen footage, BookWorm thinks they deserve this as they've had a raw deal from the Stoats, however you feel about them. With each other for support they'll be braver. Thomas Markle is clearly a sick man, and maybe someone should issue a warning to his daughter about honouring the Fifth Commandment.
The Ho's signed up to WME, but no amount of salivating and puffery will turn the Ho into a global star.
On paper WME is impressive, 467M income, 11.4 Billion in assets, 10,700 employees. In 2019 WME bought the Walker Agency, with whom the Stoats were already registered. The CEO is Ari Emanuel who's been mired in racist controversy and allowed a pornographic website to be run from WME offices. He's married to Sara who runs the label Staud who designed the crumpled pink flamingo suit at Lakers.
Rumours abound that the Ho is looking at film parts, but only if she features heavily in roles and credits.
BookWorm thinks that history is going to repeat itself and the Ho will relaunch The Tig. If she gets a role in a film she'll send the Stoat a Dear John letter but keep all the jewellery. She knows it's over with the RF and needs something to move on TO. BookWorm thinks the end of the marriage is near, but does the Stoat know?

Can you imagine the mess re the PoW title especially when William became PoW and if he was married? Would there have been 2 Princess’ of Wales? I would say that’s probably why they wanted her restyled as HRH Princess Diana, nothing more sinister than that.

No one minds if he changed on getting married …but it’s the fact he REGRESSED to a spiteful , entitled, moaning child, who lectures on supposed “ woke” issues and doesn’t practice what he preaches, a rank hypocrite ! !

mmmm.... i kind of disagree bc the book i'm reading lol. the author may be mis-informed (she does a very objective, to negative portrayal of our Chucky, so i don't think she is a fan, but she did base all her research on all the confirmed tabloid news and leaks of the time). Sally Bedell Smith says that HM, PP and PC were ok with Lady Di keeping the HRH styling, but then she put her foot in her mouth and went on to leak to several newspapers and tabloids the details of the divorce negotiations, even after she promised HM that she would keep them private. the author thinks Di was forcing HM's hand by announcing things the palace wouldn't comment on, as they never comment, as a pre-emptive strike tactic (another sweet nod to Diana, skinwalk by Smeggz). finally, the triumvirate, led by HM, decided on the stripping of the title, having taken into consideration Diana's penchant for leaking and indiscretion. Charles did declare he wouldn't get married again, as a concession to the divorce. well... he's happy with Cammie and Diana is hopefully happy back in the great star stuff (theory of late Carl Sagan).

i might be well off... this galaxy. or universe. RIP Carl Sagan.

edit: it was William who ultimately convinced Diana to relinquish the HRH, but, according to the book, it was bc he said it doesn't matter. again, these next 5 universes you can see in the telescope? i might be hanging about the 10th one over.
