I'm glad that Meagain isn't coming to the Coronation, whether she was actually invited or not! (I think not):D

But I'm sure she has something prepared to try to upstage the Coronation

Seems like the drama has already started because the implication here is that Peg wouldn't miss Archie's birthday for anything but Harry would. Ergo, Peg is a better parent than Harry.

Never mind that Lilibet had her first birthday in the UK during the platty joobs.

The coronation is two hours tops. They should be done well before 2 pm. They could go and come back and have a party for him at 3 pm.

Also, a four-year-old doesn't even know what day it is. They can have a party for him a day after or a day before and he would be none the wiser. Children's birthdays fall on workdays all the time and parents have parties for them either later in the day or the following weekend. No big deal.

The excuse they are using makes no sense because it is meant as a microaggression towards Harry.

I don't think Peg is happy that he is going and now an evil part of me wants him and the whole bleeping extended family on that bleeping balcony so that Peg can see exactly how irrelevant she bleeping is.

I totally agree people have to work on their kids birthdays all the time, its called life!!!

And as for this Chuck is evil for organising his coronation on Archie's birthday - FFS - it's a coronation, they have to organise this around the King, archbishop of Canterbury, the prime minister, and no doubt half of the heads of the commonwealth countries. Jings we can never agree on a date for a Christmas staff night out so end up not having one.

But honestly, it wouldn't have surprised me if chuck had chosen the date to try and build a bridge, and he's had it thrown back in his face.

I think the divorce will happen sooner rather than later. She now knows she's behind Kate and Sophie (I think) and would need to curtsey to them. And Camilla!!! No way she's EVER doing that!!!

What a waste!!!

The excuse is that it is Archies birthday and she will be staying at home because of and to celebrate that? Bull. It is his birthday regardless of physical location and what a birthday gift it would be for him and his sister as a Prince and Princess to experience the pomp and ceremonial celebration of the coronation of their grandfather. Meghan willing to use his Prince title but won't be going to such a major royal event? Just be honest and say you're not wanted

Are the Dukes seated separately from their wives? If so, she could have been told that if she comes, she would be seated away from Todger, and daren't face everyone without him in clutching distance?

How many times can she misspell duchess?! Surely every time she types dutchess, a red squiggly line appears?
I believe it’s on purpose… I don’t think she is real deal, just making fun/parody of sugar but she is so convicing she appears being (and enjoys being mistaken) a sugar.”
I might be wrong though.

If Haz appears on the balcony, smeg will be furious. I don't think he'll be on the balcony to be honest. I think it's being made very clear to him that he's no longer a working royal and therefore doesn't get the perks.

Something that came to mind though. There was a custody case in the States, where the American mother had filed charges against the foreign husband, I think for drugs so that he wouldn't be allowed back in the country. It backfired on her when the judge announced that since the father couldn't access the States, then the children would have to live with him. And the mother could visit his country to see them. I think they were filthy rich or something but can't remember anymore details. Do you think smeg might know about this case?
Yes. Kelly Rutherford. Some reason husband lost visa and got custody of kids in Monaco. But could have been solely he was the better parent

Bowing out and clearly not being invited/ told not to come are two different things 😂
I don’t agree. There’s NO WAY the RF wouldn’t invite her, they would never give her the ammunition. Somehow, the emails clarifying her non-invite would find their way out in the world….

No, Meghan is simply a gutless narcissist and doesn’t have the courage to face the UK or Harrys family. She couldn’t face anymore boos and Willy took the wind out of her sails when they did the joint walkabout after the Queen died. She was terrified, and way out of her depth that afternoon.

Honestly, how much have they paid for the endless PR pieces in the last few months? What a waste of money, I said all along she wouldn’t dare show her face. 🤣

Oooh I hope Charles invites him on the balcony now 🤣

She'll just have to watch it on TV, wearing a "house dress" and slippers (no need to splash out thousands on a designer outfit), her straggly hair hanging loose and plenty of tissues at the ready to mop up her tears, pondering how she managed to duck up so spectacularly her biggest ever role (marrying into the RF). Schadenfreude...witch.
I picture her in a stretched out tee shirt with wine and gravy stains , messy bun spun sideways, tin foil crown slugging wine straight from the bottle

Yep this is definitely the reason IMO.

Gives it large from overseas, but in person meek as a mouse. Remember Catherine getting out of that car and bossing it, while Meg was stumbling about all over the shop? Can't risk being filmed snapping at another aide again either.

Shared a car with Sophie and I BET she didn't say a single word out of place. Peter and Big Mike giving them the cold shoulder at the platty joobs. Being escorted to the tit seats with Johnny boy sat behind eyeballing them. Getting dolled up and then relegated to the kids room. Jack Brooksbank blatantly ignoring them both at the funeral. And not a peep from them. They were completely out of their depth.

Has plenty to say about the RF, just not to their faces. True cowardice.

never stopped her before!!
She's not going (even if invited in the first place) simply to save face...

- she doesn't want to play second fiddle & curtsey to members of the RF she hates
- she doesn't want to wear an inferior gown or inferior tiara
- she doesn't want to be invisible in a minor role - no grand entrance, no best seats, no procession, no balcony, no vicarious attention via the kids
- she does not want to be publicly seen to be cut or ignored
Inauthentic equals hypocritical, which is far more accurate. This is the work of a spin doctor.

Bowed out? Ha! Not even shown the door. Just not invited so the decision as made for her. I think that BP knew that she wouldn't miss the chance to strut even though everyone would freeze her out. She could merch that video and the pictures.

DM - really scraping the barrel...

Who will Harold's allies be at the Coronation??

Zara, Mike & Peter - they were chatting happily with the Todgers at the Jubilee - er no they weren't, forced into politeness that's all
Ed & Sophie - Ed was chatting to Mrs Todger at the Commonwealth service so he likes her - er no, Sophie's glare said it all

oh and Eugenie - and then there's Eugenie - and Jack - and Eugenie ...
Definitely scraping the barrel - or saying something without saying it, as they often do, ie they have no allies.

Zara was the only one that we saw speaking to them after the jubilee service and that was in order to get rid of them quickly into a car.
Edward was chatting with her at the service in 2020. A lot has happened since then.
Jack used the the 'push up the spectacles' trick to avoid looking at them before they got into the car leaving the funeral service.

Anyone with a bit of common sense not to mention a bit of self-preservation will make sure they are on the right side of Charles and William, imo.

Harry, not so much 😉

She and Dorita will be sitting in a haze of marijuana smoke watching the telly and waiting for the pizza delivery guy to show up. Archie at the advanced age of 4 will trundle off to the pantry and find some corn flakes for himself and Lilipad because he knows better than to interrupt his gran and mom when they are busy getting stoned.

When I think of the platform she was handed after sinking her claws into the dim Harold and everything that went along with him. Designer clothes, country home, palace apartment in London, a whole team of people whose sole purpose is to make sure you are the best you can be, not to mention the cooks, maids, butlers, chauffeurs, and on and on. All she had to do was play nice for a while and it would all have been hers and she couldn't do it. Her ego just could not let her.

Maybe she's counting on a big payout if she lets him go but I don't think the RF is going to be willing to pay what she wants.

I'm just thrilled she's not going to the Coronation. Yeah, she'll do something to try and upstage The King, but good luck with that. It's his day and good for him and good riddance to smegs!!

I wonder… how long does it take for folks as Shola to come up with this shite. Semi-Quoting Elizabeth Bennet from P&P, does this proceed from the impulse of the moment, or is this the result of previous study?
