I think we should admire her tenacity and feel sorry for her because her tireless efforts to remain private backfire, resulting in her being in the News every day.

She just cannot get a break.

Damn that P.R company.

Another line from ' the book'

‘This is your bench, Where life begins, For you and our son our baby, our kin.’

'Kin' who uses that word today? Certainly not in a children's book.
Maybe it was dictated and the copy person forgot to remove the bit where she said “...our baby, our....’kin hell H - where’s Archie??” 😂

I just think it’s funny. She’s like a kid that ruins everyone’s lovely game because she’s not winning, so the rest of the kids tell her she can’t play and she goes and tells the teachers how they’re all playing a horrible game and been mean to her. All kids get in trouble and don’t like her anymore but she’s still desperate to play the game she ruined in the first place. It’s totally bonkers!!!

Honestly that Heat article is the most vomit inducing thing I’ve read in a long time. It’s even worse than The Bench excerpt! Do these mags and papers literally just get the PR release, cut and paste the entire thing and say “there you go”?!? No wonder she wanted to run home to that! I mean, I know the British press might use a line or two but they will at least write their own article around it, with a positive or negative slant as they feel appropriate. Our press is far, far from perfect but I do actually feel regularly grateful that we have it to hold people to account. I am also quite convinced by the article that their marriage is limping along in its closing stages, even if it takes a long time to finally admit that publicly. No one actually happy would feel the need to proclaim it like that and make out their husband was so utterly perfect. I’m betting they’re barely speaking!

In my experience the word 'kin' is very commonly used in the US. My husband is American and he and his family use it often.

Still not sure why life begins on a bench, though.

I wonder if she’s called Daniel Radcliffe yet and asked him to play the part of the dad in the film adaptation.

Not quite in the poet laureate league is it?
Looking out at my love and our beautiful boy
And here in the window I’ll have tears of great joy
From here you will rest see the growth of our boy ........WALOB - is she actually 5yo ?
Caveat (No copyright infringement this is taken from DE website)

How about :
Knowing I wont wear a crown cos I’ve been lumbered with the royal clown
Do not cry my cash cow son soon the divorce will be over and done
I will merch til kingdom be on Daddy’s name we will live for free
My baby prince and princesses two what a freeloading life style is awaiting you 🙀
( not my best work admittedly I’m off to get a book deal now)

Watch out Fergie shes copying everyones ideas - poor Budgie the helicopter would be spinning in the air 🚁
I couldn't bring myself to click on the article, the summary on the DM website was more than enough to evoke the Budgie vibe immediately.

So I didn't see any of the "pome" but the lines you quote make me think of Private Eye's spoof William Rees-McGonagall doggerel.

It's really starting to piss me off now that she can market herself as a Duchess but throw the RF under the bleeping Oprah bus.
Quickly thinking about it, I guess the idea is to fix herself as a "proper Royal" in US minds, so that her criticisms can carry some weight there so that tat can continue to be flogged. Obviously actual British people and others who think about it for more than a few seconds realise that she is not, never has been, and never will be a proper Royal - hell, personally I don't think any of the married-ins are proper Royals but willing to play along as long as they do the job as well as Sophie and Catherine have - but also understand that the RF are between a rock and a hard place in terms of removing titles.

Andrew Neil on This morning - sums it up about the book and the interview - he said he has read some of the book and the prose are terrible - it is terrible he said 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ooh Ross King and Lorraine just "wondering" if the proceeds of the book are for "charidy"😂😂... Ya the Sussex bank account charity... So far no mention of a charity benefitting, which is unusual according to them..... ( Nudge nudge wink wink)
Is Ross King (sycophant King 🥴) Scoobies grand dad? They seem to use the same surgeon - a BOGOF deal maybe 🤪🤪🤪

I googled the book earlier, what comes up as the top link? Orcadaily.

I can only imagine what my old university lecturers who specialised in poetry would make of this. I think she'd be advised to write only in prose.
All you tattlers are making me so proud of your poetic abilities! Gins (or preferred tibble) all round! 🥂

Nothing about this, from the title to the excerpt, says "children's book" to me. What's with the "our son"? Surely third person or first person talking as a parent or the child?

A poem HFW wrote for hubby which which became "a story" at a children's reading level....what is she trying to say about Haz's reading ability??? Or is it based at HFW's ability level? 🤔

Also, we have all spied her bio right? Glad to see she only refers to being DoSussex on the front cover for retail purposes. How's that feminism going for you?

Activist? Surely one has to actively do things to be known as such? Never seen her take part in protests etc

So I’m waiting for a hospital appointment and thought I would use the time wisely to try and catch up! I’ve missed getting involved in the conversation as I didn’t want to repeat what had already been said! Hope you are all well and fingers crossed I will be with you all soon!!!

Daily Fail have taken a look at their comments section and realised they can twist the knife..

And there's more on the way, presumably if this Bench from the Wench shifts enough copies to cover the PR costs

It comes as sources told Vanity Fair's Katie Nicholl Meghan plans to write more books in the future, revealing: 'She wanted to have a go at writing a children’s book first and depending on the success of this, there will be more. She is also keen to write books for adults too.'

ETA And from Vanity Fair, this vomit-inducing gem

“Meghan loves writing and she’s very good at it,” said a source close to the Duchess called Meghan

“The baby shower will be a classy affair – there will be no expense spared,”
We’re told Harry, and Meghan’s mum Doria, have been doing most of the organising and are making sure the 39-year-old former actress gets everything she asks for. “Harry has been very hands-on with the planning,” says the insider. “He’s teamed up with Doria and a couple of Meg’s friends to make sure it’ll be a day to remember. He wants his wife to feel like a proper princess from beginning to end, even though he won’t be there for the majority of the party – it’ll be a girls-only day, but he’ll probably pop in towards the end. He wants to make sure it’s a five-star affair with all the food, music, pampering and ambience she likes – plus a few special surprises.”

bleeping hell pussy whipped or what!! 😁

Not that I believe any of that shite.
Imagine Hazno organising a baby shower with Smeggy shouting instructions at him. What a dogs life that man must live now 😁 the PR person who wrote this drivel should start writing for Mills and Boon 😄 they seem determined to turn Haz into a romantic hero....... bizarre
Nuke them from bleeping orbit, waste of bastard space those two cunts!!!!

Are you suggesting that HFW's picture shouldn't be attached to this definition in the Cambridge Dictionary? 😱🤣

I'm trying to think of things she's done that could be described as activism and all I have is when she jumps on a bandwagon for five minutes because something is popular but then you never hear about it again from her. And I believe that is called jumping on the bandwagon to sound important for five seconds/to gain an inch in the columns, not being an activist 😎 Unless she's classed as an activist for interviewing Gloria Steinem 🤔

Meagain's claim that she phoned HM did get me wondering about how things are 'done' in the RF. Do The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a direct line to HM or do they have to go through aides? Is there someone screening her calls? I find the whole thing fascinating and wish I couod be a fly on the wall!
I'm surprised she didn't claim she had a BatPhone or a DoubleDog Secret telephone number for TQ that Her Majesty gave her personally....

The Result Source principle.
Buy 10000 copies, which is a silly 100000$ per bulk, in politics campaign funds are usable, and donate to affiliated charities and its the NYT bestseller list.
It explains Finding Funding making it.

😱 I would say I've committed high treason but then, as we can see by this book that's being published shortly, The Duchess of Sussex isn't into that royal life anymore
