I do wonder what H has been up to since seeing Daddy Dearest... will he make it out of the country unnoticed? will we next see him at the invictus thing in Canada? or will he pop up before then?

And surely we'll get a pap shot of Megs today....

I was annoyed AF when I saw Hawwy in his RR with bodyguards AND A full blue lights parade of police cars escorting him. Perhaps I am being u reasonable but it really did grind my gears
I wonder if this was a request from KC who was only prepared to give Harry a small window of time and didn't want him bleating in the press that traffic delays kept him from the bedside

Fuck me!! Are they deliberately trying to wind us up? Cos it's working. Grrrr.
What short memories the press have.
Feck me they've used a whole bloody forest of OLIVE TREES now

I won't be responsible for my actions if I hear the words OLIVE BRANCH again .....

Oh and a new one 'rapprochement' which they say with a heavy French accent .....

..... it seems to me that , even seriously ill, our Monarch has harry EXACTLY where he wants him........
Outside the family, and minimalist contact.

Simon Dorante- Day is allegedly going to approach Harry for DNA. For those who don’t know, Simon believes he is Charles and Camilla’s son, despite strong evidence that he is not.
Headlines are driving me mad, but the comments give me hope that most people can see through this
Can h go to the door of Adelaide Cottage and ring the bell? Or would security carry him to the cliffs of Dover if he tries something like this?

If orders are given for no contact , then no one will be let into the grounds.

I bet Andrew is kicking himself for being an idiotic pedalo befriender and having terrible judgment because this would have been his time to shine and show the world his "talents" and "ambitions".

William has worked hard to gain a close team around him too. He's worked with a lot of the same people for years and they have a clear way of doing things and are very loyal. He's always been smart about who he tells what to. Unlike his brother.

Angela Levin says there is no way Ginge was invited

I actually do agree with Angela here.

Harry wasn't invited. He made his own decision to come so he could ease his own conscience and his own public image. He had no regard for what Charles wanted. He thought Charles would drop everything he had planned and cater for Harry? Please.

Personally, I think he came so that his Invictus trip next week wouldn't be overshadowed by "Harry go see your father" like what people did to Smeg when she ignored her father's heart attack.

It's all about Harry.

I agree with you. And to deflect from African Parks which has conveniently fallen out of the headlines. To be that self-serving is astonishing, he mustn't give a shit about KC3 really.

No of course he doesn't.

And we see RIGHT THROUGH IT ALL for the cunt that he ( and she) is.

Turned on the tv after my shift, caught part of segment about the BRF on BBC. They were talking about how along with others, William was also taking on Charles's duties along with his own engagements. Had the investiture ceremony today to recognise all the people who have done good things, the sort of engagement that should bring solace in the midst of troubled times (lovely way to put it). Also that the family had dealt with the situation well, shared main details yet kept everything else private. Sparry was mentioned - that he'd visited. The Pup started barking then so I missed out on what they were saying I think it was something like there were hopes for a reconciliation but it was a short meeting - don't quote me on that though.

Yesterday also I got the feeling that there was a 'we hoped for a reconciliation but ....'.

You're right. Read a comment about Charles yesterday, that he's driven to an engagement or two, walks around for a bit, then needs a holiday. And the same for the other royals.

Most people don't understand how difficult a public-facing job is, which is why they're always so happy to harass those in such roles - cashiers, shop assistants, bank tellers, post officers, teachers etc. Sure, some aren't the best at their work or are rude, but can't really blame them when they're dealing with this ingratitude and entitlement on a daily basis. Would make anyone lose interest. And then the royals have the added burden of always having cameras on them - most not under their control. And everything goes on the internet to be circulated around the world forever.

These are the people who think that tourists come from all across the globe to "see some shitty old buildings", and that the historical buildings should be turned into shopping malls or maybe shelters for the homeless (a noble cause, but even those places won't begin to address the problem).

My doctors said years ago that I'm mildly lactose intolerant (can't have hot milk and hot milky desserts, but everything else I can have in small quantities. Covid robbed me of most of my love for cheese though), and can digest nutrients from animal sources better than plant sources. Quite a big problem in a country where many people are vegetarians. The number of arguments I've had with potential grooms who wanted me to become a vegetarian/vegan and wouldn't believe that it would be really harmful for me As if our bodies aren't already troubled and stressed enough

I've come to realise though that this stubbornness has little to do with beliefs and more to do with control. Look at Ms Vegan (except on the weekends and on trips roasting chickens) That eggy wedding menu tasting story always leaves me wondering how someone could tolerate her

That's a nice article in the Mail. Sums up our future King very well. A true professional who will carry out his duty, understands his place, and is dedicated and caring towards his family.

There was obviously no communication. The media has shaped this visit as if H were a loving, worried son and KC was eager to have him here. But the few facts we know do not bear this out.

Suppose you and your child hsd exactly these circumstances. You call to tell him the news. You tell him you are going to your vacation home to recuperate. He says he is coming to see you. The most vital part of the conversation would be WHEN. When are you arriving?

The fact that there was an entourage for H means that his flight details were known. Arrangements were made for him. But they were also made for KC snd QC. So why was the helicopter and the car ordered for so close a time…to only allow for the shortest of visits?

I have read that KC likes to avoid difficult situations. I dont think he wanted this visit. Catering to Harry might well upset Camilla and certainly POW. But H’s PR had forced him to, at the least, have some public pretense of a meeting…so not to be the bad guy in the narrative.

But he had his escape route…the car and the helicopter…at the ready. This ‘visit’ may not have even been 45 minutes…it could have been much shorter.

Harry has no comfort to bring his father. Whether he was seeking gossip to sell, money, or a PR moment…the human part of KC knows it wasn’t about love for him. The man has cancer and being used for mercenary purposes by his grifter son and daughter-in-law must hurt. But it also would put the final ‘nail in the coffin’.for the relationship, if it were me.

I think he made it very clear by the quick exit…that there would be no reconciliation, only the courtesy one affords a forced meeting with a business associate. No love involved at all.
