^^Agreed! She really didn't know Britain and didn't know Harry before their whirlwind romance and engagement. Visits to friends and holidays don't tell you everything about a place. Had she taken her time, moved to London after finishing at Suits and settled in - made friends locally etc - she would feel far less isolated now. She may have even decided the sacrifices made when marrying a prince aren't worth it.

I think Kate and Will are successful (and happy) now partly because they have an excellent support network of trustworthy friends and the Middletons. Harry may or may not have had the trustworthy friends, but Megs certainly didn't (given all the 'friends' and her family who have talked to the media since their relationship was first announced). The one thing they did have, if they hadn't mucked it up, would be a supportive sister and brother in law and the extended royal family. Sophie can relate to giving up your professional life, Mike can relate to being less famous than your partner in spite of your own achievements, Autumn can relate to moving from another country, Kate and Camilla can certainly relate to being vilified by the press. It turns out James Middleton can relate to Harry and his mental health struggles too. They have all the resources in the world to seek professional help, and the support is/was there.

her mom's side of the family seemed like really nice, down to earth folks. the uncle who gave her one of her first prominent jobs at the embassy. I wonder what she thought in her screwed mind that they did to be cut off like that?

i just think none of her family were that bad, as shallow as she is, she's just embarrass of them. She can't really cut her mom off. she's her mother, but if would like to, she would. she's just simply a very vile woman. and sadly, she will and has isolated Harry and Archie from his family now. How awful!

But don’t forget how difficult it is for Meghan. She had to call and pay for the paparazzi herself because nobody was interested! Poor girl.

They harassed Kate to the point that she couldn’t even get to and from work without being followed or having them on her doorstep. They made it so difficult for her to even leave the house, to the point she had to quit her job and go work for her family, which they then used as an excuse to call her lazy.

Maybe I am just a b#tch but I don’t think she is getting the attention even now. Every pap photo seems staged just like in the old days, even her last photos pregnant of Archie. Now I would be very interested in a photo of a heavily pregnant Meghan but it seems those photos aren’t out there because fridge size Meghan did not call the paparazzi- so they weren’t there.

I tweeted the other day that I thought it was tasteless of her to make such remarks when she is in such a privileged position, and especially against the backdrop of an African tour (which you think would give her better perspective). Someone replied that the issue was really racism in the British press and the royal family. Excuse me? Even if that were true, what does that have to do with the price of tea in China? MM's little public pity party was still incredibly tone deaf, regardless.

Even if she didn’t speak to her mums family much anymore, that chapel was big enough for her just to extend a kind gesture and invite 5/10 of them. Instead Oprah got front row seats and her mum was sat on her own. My dad doesn’t even care much about the RF but even he has said how strange that was. If people that don’t care about you are picking up on your strangeness, it’s not the presses doing.

I would have found it beyond embarrassing to have had only one member of my family at my wedding. It just shows your guests (and for her the entire world) what kind of person you must be. An even bigger issue for me is not having your father by your side - that is unforgivable. Not making any effort whatsoever to help him in the build up to the wedding by meeting Harry, by maybe bringing him over to the UK a month or two beforehand to acclimatise him to the surroundings. She’s absolutely heartless.

I honestly think after seeing the recent documentary that Harry's mental health is a million times more fragile than anyone has realised probably more than even Meghan herself knew, something is clearly very wrong on so many levels, I'm guessing a lot of couples therapy is going on behind the scenes as i think like his own mother he's not well, deeply troubled and stuck in an unsuitable marriage, I seriously think they know themselves at this point it's just not working at all.

Sorry but that’s a ridiculous statement, and before anyone jumps down my throat I’m not a fan of Meghan! Meghan is bi racial herself so I’m not sure how you jumped to that conclusion.

He seemed fine today, even with the camera’s clicking. I don’t know if he’s just someone who’s school sick when real work comes around the corner or if he’s mainly suffering from the toxic influence of his narcissistic wife. Either way, without her he looks 100% better so she should be escorted to the exit right away.
