Why didn't Mike Tindall step up for the rugby? I know he's not a working royal but it would make more sense if he was involved.
To be honest I think Anne is too old now for the royal marines position. She's in her 70s and I'm surprised she's not thinking about retiring rather than taking more on.
There's not enough younger royals and many patronages are going to have to go thanks to the selfishness of the Harkles. William was probably counting on his brother to share out all those duties and he did a runner.
A revamp is long overdue. Let's hope that Charles decides to cut back on all this stuff as promised.

I think Anne is a sensible decision at present, I would think after Anne it will go to William but they don't want to rub no6s nose in it just yet.
I’d be rubbing his nose in it at every opportunity, it’s the least he deserves.
I would have love to have seen Zara and Mike take the rugby patronages. I know they are working royals but I think they will do an excellent job.
Catherine is a fine choice also, and will carry out the role perfectly but I could just see Z and M enjoying it more.
Also think Anne is a great choice, even if it is caretaking and bringing up a younger royal up to speed.

As much as I luuuuurve the fact that Catherine has been given it and that's a major poke in the eye to Haz and his wife, I think giving it to "non-working" royals Z&M would have been an even bigger poke in the eye, especially because H&M wanted that half-in-half-out model
Not all Black people claim her as their “poster child”. She’s mixed race. I know Black people that find it highly insulting to say a mixed person is just black. And they very much speak up on it.
