I think they're still together - they both did tweets/stories about looking for a new flat (that made it sound like they were looking together, not splitting)

You know what I’m all for free the nip but she’s actually starting to make me feel sick. I’ve seen her tits more than I’ve seen my own. Why is having breasts her only personality trait she’s not fit enough to pull this off
“Not fit enough to pull this off” is exactly it.

She doesn’t look as hot as she used to, but she’s not awful looking or anything, but she makes herself look SO much worse by insisting on wearing the kind of shit that would only look good on a skinny 18 year old waif.

Always think nothing puts me off engaging with an influencer on social media more than them moaning about things like this. Just makes them come across as so snobby

ETA - people engaging with her on social media pays her bills so she should be less of a twat about it tbh.
It’s not even as if that tweet is remotely interesting or good?? What other engagement did she think she would get off of that?

He's spoken about quite a bit in the last few pages of his ex's thread
Basically a 30 something year old man baby who writes for Vice and has younger girlfriends that he sponges off

omg so glad she has a thread here!! ive always got odd vibes from her.
do you reckon she reads here?

I met joel briefly once at Vice and he seemed super uncomfortable for someone who worked there tbh, just wouldnt make eye contact with anyone, seemed eager to leave, anyway just an observation.
She does read here. She did an interview about tattle. Referenced in particular the comment on here about her “glowing down”

I think this an exceptionally good characterisation of the problem she and all manner of other influencers between 27ish and 34ish are staring down the barrel of.

For the most part your audience ages with you, and if your brand is centred around some general style and lifestyle amalgam as is the case for most of these women, then if your lifestyle gets suspended in amber to the extent that it falls out of kilter with the habits and/or aspirations of a large % of other people your age, your audience evaporates. And of course the party going 19-year-olds are mostly inclined to follow other 19-year-olds. They don’t gravitate naturally to parasocial relationships with women a decade or more older than them. So an influencer with a lifestyle that most of her followers have either grown out of or have grown out of enjoying is ultimately on a hiding to nothing.
Really well summarised. I wonder what's going to happen to these girls now. Ones like Hannah clearly don't have much of a 'retirement' plan or plan B. For a lot of these influencers it's to move into the mum-fluencer stage but obviously that isn't for everyone, and it doesn't have to be. It would be good if influencers like Hannah had something more to them than just going out and wearing clothes. That's got a real sell by date.

It's hilarious that she doesn't see this, that her content is shit and also her audience have grown out of her and the younger ones are too young for her, not that Instagram is 'shadow blocking' her amazing content  it just seems so obvious.

Back to my original point though, what's going to happen to these girls now?

Oh my god that latest ad for Mubi is a painful watch. Cheer up love and look at the camera instead of your script. No wonder it bombed.

It's easy enough to find the ex on Insta (he's tagged in Hannah's old posts and stories for a start) and it looks like he had the same username on Twitter, but has deleted. If you search that username and "MetroUK" on twitter then go to "latest," you can see four or five tweets that look like they are in reply to him having written an article about men in abusive relationships, thanking him for sharing his story etc.
(Nobody involved in these tweets is an influencer so I'm keeping it deliberately vague as assuming it is not OK to share usernames or screenshots on here.)

I have been in an abusive/violent relationship myself and it was a horrific experience that has affected the rest of my life and i think always will. Whoever the article is about, I hope the man has been able to move on and the woman has sought help.
That's horrible, I'm glad you're out of that situation now. Thank you for sharing and for the info on the article.

I’ve followed her for ages and she now lives in the same apartments I used to live in for years. Gutted I’ve missed my chance to run into her! 😂
