My partner is a dietician and from what I understand they’re basically an extremely overpriced multivitamin. They might do some good for topping up your vitamin needs but they are NOT a replacement for eating actual vegetables. Eating real fruit and veg doesn’t compare to a multivitamin, especially in terms of fibre which is extremely important. Also Shreddy claim that their greens powder has over 34 fruits and vegetables in but this can literally be a minuscule amount of each one - it’s not blended up fruit like a smoothie.

Basically, they can be good if you’re having them alongside a healthy diet in the same way multivitamins are - but in my opinion the marketing around them is a bit dodgy as grace sells them by saying ‘I cba to cook vegetables so I drink this instead and it’s even better’
They're also usually disgusting despite influencers saying they're nice

THIS 💯 The whole fruit and vegetable or grain is ALWAYS preferable to any supplement be that powder or pill 🙌🏻

However… These powder supplements are very different from a regular multivitamin tablet! When you buy a multivitamin from a reputable brand or at the pharmacy, there are strict regulations regarding production, shelf life, the amounts of vitamins and mineral and so on.

Shreddy powdered greens though? 🤡 It’s like the Wild West - Grez can claim whatever she wants 🤠 Production and shelf life, who knows how that’s regulated. Another problem is that no one seems to consider that it’s actually a highly processed food. If there were any vitamins in minerals to begin with, they’ve most likely been processed to death and just left a 🌱green tinted powder🌱 behind 😂

Thank you for being tempted! I always thought they were a lil suss, but this is super interesting. All these powders just look like they’d taste of soggy autumnal leaves, and it sounds like they’d have about the same nutritional value!

You’re very welcome! ☺ Multivitamins and mineral supplements have sadly gotten a bad rep, but they can be a beneficial addition for anyone struggling to reach the recommended daily amount of fruit, vegetables, milk and yogurt... Which a lot of us are - myself included 😂

I’d always advise women to take iron supplements though regardless of how you eat! 🩸 50mg. every other day taken with 500mg. vitamin C, is what I’ve been taught by a bowel specialist.

And if you do want something ACTUALLY healthy and easy to drink go for a homemade smoothie with greek yogurt, frozen fruit and veg, peanut butter or some chia seeds - whatever you fancy 😋 I’ll stop rambling now 🤭

Sorry for derailing but about iron supplements, are any OK or is there something specific I should be looking for? (Sprry never really taken supplements before and no idea!)

I have always found own-brand (Sainsbury's/Tesco/boots) multivitamins & minerals to have the greatest number of essential supplements for the lowest price. They generally contain 100% of your recommended amounts of key things (including iron) as well as a bunch of stuff like zinc, biotin, selenium etc that you find in the ~premium hair skin & nails supplements for a way inflated price.

I personally prefer ferrous bisglycinate, as it’s easier on my stomach ☺

Grace not-an-influencer-but-a-serious-business-woman Beverley has been going in HARD on the Ads recently. I keep seeing her on every platform shilling various tit. Got to double her wage now she babysits a grown man full time.

I still can’t fathom how she thinks it’s to funny to joke about “needing money for a fancy wedding” when both she and her silly manchild, are walking around in those fugly ✨Loewe jeans✨ that cost £825 and £875 🤡
⚠ £1700 for matching jeans 😂

It’s a full on jumpscare every time her posh twatty trying to be funny and failing ads pop up! Her voice, and Alice Liveing’s rictus grin flogging overpriced ready meals are both particularly annoying atm.

Why on earth would her underpaid team be buying her a pair of shoes?!

Also Stacey Solomon fake laughing at the kids toys in her Hello Fresh box. That advert is following me around the internet at the moment and it is so bad.

I’ve just realised Grace blocked me on tik tok 😭 all I said was that TALA greenwashes on a video that wasn’t even about her or the brand to begin with. I didn’t even say anything rude lmao

No one proof reads their posts but they do seem to spend a lot of time blocking people 🤣
