If Grace was honest: Going on a holiday for a week, I'm so excited! Bit burnt out with work and got some amazing people to cover for me. Can't wait to relax for a bit.

So I just read a bit about “thunderstorm asthma”. I’m not a health expert at all but I do have a pretty long-standing interest in meteorology

it is a thing - they basically think what happens is that when a thunderstorm causes a strong wind across the surface of the ground, the wind picks up pollen/spores/other hayfever allergens (which would be being released in higher volumes than normal because of the agitation caused by the wind) which are then either breathed in deeply or go back up into the cloud, get broken down by the moisture and rained down in smaller particles which are easier to inhale.

A load of asthma attacks happened in Melbourne in 2016 in exactly these circumstances - a big punch of heat early in summer, in hayfever season, followed by a big storm.

She’s not allergic to thunderstorms lol - it’s not at all weird that a storm would trigger a serious asthma attack if it causes shittonnes of pollen to be cutting about when it normally wouldn’t be

Funny how grace has gone from being soo anti fast fashion and shouting at everyone that she only buys sustainable small brands, to now posting links everyday to all her clothes from designer or more high end brands. Just because a shirt is £200 from Reiss or a bag is 1k from dior it does not mean it was made sustainability or ethically. Designer brands are often the least ethical of all.

Ofc we know she never really cared in the first place and that only wanted to profit off sustainability, but it seems like now she’s disregarded that facade completely so she can show off how rich she is

She hires people that can't spell, she hires people who don't spell check the dyslexic persons work. She hires people who are fans of hers. She hires people without giving them money transparency. She hires people who miss deadlines. She hires people who respond to criticism with rude remarks. She hires people who are deluded into thinking that they are not working in fast fashion. She hires people who have to pretend to be okay with her regular holidays and beauty appointments. She hires people who won't question her lack of knowledge or the fact she's just a face to a merch business.

Her shouting on her story about how much work it is/how hard it is to hire people literally only screams incompetence… why would a (self proclaimed) CEO be the only person in charge of interviewing, onboarding, creating teams… her business aren’t THAT small/independent that you wouldn’t outsource an HR specialist of some sort of you are doing “thousands” of interviews her last story makes it seem like this is a normal process and that they can’t afford a HR team- you don’t need TEAM you need one person with experience to pave the way, instead of herself, an influencer screaming on her insta story about how hard her job is

The absolute audacity of Greg making her staff come in full time when she's there for maybe 4 hours 2-3 days a week. Guarantee it's to feed her own ego so she can see all her minions hard at work whenever she deigns to show up. If people work from home you just don't get the same 'I own you' vibes, y'know?

It’s also a moot point because all the expensive shit she buys and calls “staples” we see once and never again. I remember a year or so ago she bought some tacky monogrammed Gucci trousers and got them tailored and was going on about how it’s an investment because she’ll have from for years - and surprise surprise we’ve never seen them again.

There’s no way she’ll be wearing these for years and years, because her style will inevitably switch up again once her weird rich auntie white linen phase is over.

She’s quite stupid tbh. Presents herself as intelligent by the words she used and Oxford but she got average grades and has very little general intelligence lmao

100% she is the kind of person who, had she grown up in an average/poor family, gone to a standard comprehensive would never have got into Oxford or done anything she has. What her education has given her is really the confidence to behave as she does

Why does she act like this job post is an exception? The job adverts for her companies never provide a salary.

Also, it’s quite common for adverts to provide a large salary range and specify that it’s dependent on experience. They do that at my work. I don’t get her logic that different experience levels welcome = can’t give any indication of salary whatsoever?

Readers, I genuinely gasped at the amount of ££ she’s wasted on replacing bits of the perfectly functional 3 year old kitchen:

£320 to paint some panels. THREE HUNDRED AND TWENTY QUID. This is only a snippet, I hate to think how much money she’s spaffed on all this if this is what she’s happy for people to see. She lives on a different planet.

Greg Beg and Caroline Callaway are my two absolute least favourite people in the snarkiverse, and I for one cannot WAIT to see which one comes out seeming like a bigger twat in her podcast (calling it here: both of them have made up stories about 'getting almost thrown out of oxbridge' for paying fees late when they both come from multi ££ families so can't wait to see them bond over that)

Her hiring is also one of the worst cases of unconscious bias ever - from what gets shown on insta, practically everyone who works at tala/shreddy looks and acts like identikit grezoses!
