I’ve been reading these threads a lot recently because deep down I’ve often been shocked at what people are asking for whilst their child is literally on their death bed. I get times are hard but sound people are relentless, the hustle never stops!
I follow a page from a family in America I think who sadly lost their beautiful daughter in March this year, they used to ask for a lot towards personal costs when she was still here. I swear, today I was talking about this subject with my husband and mentioned the American page then the second I went in my Instagram I seen a post, they were asking for help towards living costs, and set up a go fund me for $30,000!!!!! I was bloody gobsmacked. People had commented criticising them, comments were swiftly deleted and she posted a story ranting about it. But honestly, the lengths people go to for money, exploiting their own dead child, shocks me so much to my core. It shouldn’t shock me in the world we live in but it does, how do people sleep at night i really do wonder.

Imagine knowing that you’ve been rumbled, and you have speculation and dishonesty following you, whilst trying to grieve. I wouldn’t have that for any amount of money.

This is pretty sad but sums up in one photo the fact that diets don’t work long term, they are not sustainable. You cannot follow Slimming World forever even if you lose the weight, get their maintaining booklet. It’s nothing to do with willpover either, we are biologically driven to eat. Want to know why it says apricot? Because apricot and it’s seeds are recommended in some circles as a natural alternative to shrinking tumours.. sounds like a bottle of apricot seeds more than any specialist treatment, and that’s a whole new rabbit hole!

WORST DIET EVER it is not sustainable long term! At a little less and move a little more it’s that simpleIm all for implementing alternative or natural medicines . Apricots do not cos thousands a month. There was no way she was on any medications until she got the freebies . Why not post photos of the real medications or visible pics of them. Just a joke these families and their wicked ways .

Loads of people contributed but Tammy ended up recovering, then the GFM page disappeared (along with everyone's donations).
People asked for their money back but Amy claimed she gave the donations to her mother to help pay her bills! Nobody was refunded as far as I know.

100% agree. I don’t agree with people getting gastric bands fitted as it’s a mental condition, as to why someone cannot put down junk food. Myself included
Could anyone explain the difference, if there is one, between a CIO and a CIC please?
I found this site, not sure if it helps you or not. I don't understand much of it tbh. If your looking into in because of PTWM, the reasons for being a CIC will be solely to benefit herself.
What are the benefits of being a CIO instead of a CIC?
This is such a common question, especially now conversion from a CIC (Community Interest Company) to a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) is much easier than it was previously.
