We all know how stretched family doctors are already - why burden them with this as well? How are they going to make such a serious and informed decision?
Also, I see Labour’s proposals remove a spouse’s ability to object, which, given that in terms of those who are married, it’s mainly middle aged AGPs men who suddenly come to realise they’re ‘trans’, it will be women who are most impacted by this.
