There were girls from my school that had relationships with teachers and it was not frowned upon the way that it is today, this would have been in the 80's.Is that Monica as in friends (I'm not a fan so I don't know any of the story lines).
One of my friends had a bit of a crush on my dad when we were younger and imagining her taking that seriously, if my dad were an abuse wrong'en and something happened gives me the ick, even now we are in our 30s and even though the age gap would be the same as my own relationship, where women his own age didn't bother me (my first boss very obviously fancied him like mad and I just thought it was funny, and only inappropriate because she was married), and younger women that aren't connected to me don't bother me if I think about him having a younger partner.
One of my mums friends daughter shacked up with her own step dad after he'd raised her from the age of 4, and had a baby with him, he also is the father to her half siblings. So definitely a good example of being 18 making it no better.
My step mums niece married her P.E teacher and had kids with him aswell after she left school at 16, which just isn't right IMO.
These men are sick, how are some women ok to accept him as a woman, I will never understand. Pop a dress on and boom. It’s fucken nuts*If you read down the thread, you will see this person is also “proud to be a les”. #
Mid 1980s was when home VCRs started becoming a household item in this country, I think. Probably no more need for Polaroids when blank tapes became readily available. That's weird, trying out the maths it says he died aged 56 in 2007,but stopped taking the photos in the mid 1980s, that is mid 20s, seems weird to me that someone would be this intense in an obsession and then just stop... Unless he moved to a different obsession.
The fact the writer here wants us to believe this man's desire to wear women like a costume makes him less misogynistic is astounding. This is pretty horrid: https://www.archive.is/oldest/https...ystery-my-tv-girls-fetish-archive-tom-wilkins
TL;DR A collector of found photography archives purchased a set of albums whose contents were unknown to him. They turned out to be Polaroids taken during the 70s-80s of women on TV - typically undressing, sex scenes, lingerie, tampon adverts, etc. and were all labelled with very misogynistic, objectifying captions. However after going through them, the collector found one shot of the original owner trying on a bra and concluded he was a TIM (he has reportedly since died so we will never know the truth.) And that would make it better apparently? Still misogyny and still a fetish
More than one male teacher at my school had relationships with female students who were over 16 but under 18, before that was made illegal. These weren’t good-looking 25 year old teachers with the more experienced girls either so you could think perhaps it would be someone they would meet otherwise (for what that might be worth) these were weird, smell, socially-inept middle-aged wrong ‘uns going after some of the more immature teenagers a lot of the time. No doubt in my mind it was why some of them did the job. There were girls from my school that had relationships with teachers and it was not frowned upon the way that it is today, this would have been in the 80's.
Myself, I became involved at 17 with a man who was twice my age. At the time I thought it was exciting but now that I have a daughter that age I see things very differently and I would not approve at all.
Yet they insist that the GC “movement” is hateful. However, they are the ones that threaten violence, are abusive, shout down anyone who disagrees. They are incapable of any from of rational debate and bully people with opposing views with threats. I suspect it’s because they actually haven’t got any real answers to back up their views.I’ve seen a few things where JK Rowling is referred to as “it” by TRAs…
What else are they gonna call it when the defendants can't be named for legal reasons? They are all getting their knickers in a twist about The mail using Brianna’s name and photo for the podcast when Brianna was the victim
But where was their outrage when Ashling Murphy’s name was used? Where was the outrage when the podcast about newborn babies being murdered?
The full page ad / true crime sensationalising is a different discussion but this is not the transphobic angle they believe it to be.

Yes I listened to it for both Lucy Letby and Ashling Murphy. It’s particularly useful if you can’t keep up with live reporting. What else are they gonna call it when the defendants can't be named for legal reasons?
In any event, I always think it's better to focus on the victims of crimes rather than give the killers notoriety.
These are good podcasts by the way, for anyone interested in the way the UK court system works. They by their nature have to be unbiased and not speculative as they're reporting from court and could easily be in contempt otherwise.
And if they hadn’t have used her name and image they would have said they are trying to erase Brianna and it’s transphobic. Cant win. They are all getting their knickers in a twist about The mail using Brianna’s name and photo for the podcast when Brianna was the victim

That’s Charlotte Clymer. You’d think he was far too busy and successful (he’s got very far in life playing the trans card, like so many trans identified white men) to be crying over toilets. If you read down the thread, you will see this person is also “proud to be a les”. #

Talk about a picture speaking a thousand words. That’s Charlotte Clymer. You’d think he was far too busy and successful (he’s got very far in life playing the trans card, like so many trans identified white men) to be crying over toilets.
It’s him in this iconic image

Charlotte's Rep
I had occasion to reacquaint myself with 'Charlotte' Clymer today and came across this excellent piece on his shady past.grahamlinehan.substack.com

In my school it was the teachers that all the girls fancied, I suppose you could say they were good looking although they weren't my cup of tea.More than one male teacher at my school had relationships with female students who were over 16 but under 18, before that was made illegal.
