From what I saw of Brianna’s SM, it was all tiny little miniskirts and anime inspired clothing. Most people would assume he was female from a distance.
I find the police reporting on trans kids particularly problematic. There have been a couple of instances from our local force on their social media where we’ve been asked to look out for *girlname* who has gone missing and the picture is of an obvious lad. I don’t see how this can’t cause significant delay in finding these kids when you’re asking the general public to disregard they can see versus what they’ve been told.

The other thing that’s occurred to me the last day or two is the collective anger online that the teens have their anonymity during the trial. Which I think is absolutely right for minors no matter the severity of the alleged crimes. It’s actually probably more important the more severe the crime is. This seems a clear cut case but it might not always be.
But when it’s a man on trial for sexual assault or grape e.g. Kevin Spacey, there is collective anger online that the adult men don’t get anonymity and the names shouldn’t be known until found guilty because otherwise their lives are ruined. I think you only see it said with grape/SA trials.
So grown men deserve even more protection in the courts than minors.

I guess they have been telling us for years it’s literal violence.
I just had a little browse on X. They are all hyper excited to FINALLY have a symbol of their oppression and literal violence against them, so much it's now distracting from the horror and severity of the situation itself.
I don't know the laws on this but I'm sure if Brianna's parents were allowed they'd have the name Brianna wanted on there. They were supportive.

It's an incredibly tragic and painful situation as it is; a very troubled, unhappy child being murdered in a horrific way by two dangerously unstable kids, seemingly out of pure bad luck that it was Brianna and not one of the other potential victims they'd earmarked. Using that as a "gotcha" or to score cheap points is not at all respectful or appropriate

Says a lot about how trans people are infantilised. If it was a 16 year old girl she wouldn’t be “little girl”. A 16 year old boy certainly wouldn’t be “little boy”.
It winds me up when they compare tall women to these bleeping men. I know women over 6ft tall and I'm not scared of them any more than any other woman of any height. They're not comparable in strength to a man.
It's abhorrent to use anyone's death to further your one agenda. It reminds me of Lee Rugby's death being latched upon by the far right despite his family's repeated requests for privacy and respect.
Anyone watch the Kae Tempest prog on Bbc2 just now? Essentially stated how they loved football as a kid reached puberty, looked round and saw other girls and didn't feel the same as them "because I didn't like boys and the same stuff as them" , and so eventually she became a he. At one point Kae stated there had been struggles with homophobia and "internalised...." but didn't end the sentence, I was screaming at the telly "INTERNALISED MISOGYNY? INTERNALISED HOMOPHOBIA?" Kae also said 'I'm on a journey to accepting who I am' (apart from the biology reality of their physical self it seems)

Apparently its discriminatory because there is no evidence to suggest any differences in performance between a trans woman cyclist and a woman born as a woman! What planet does this man live on?
I wonder how he would do if he competed in a womans race? Would this be fair? As, seeing as defining yourself as trans only needs self Identification, he has exactly the same advantages or disadvantages. as a trans woman cyclist might have.
I hope someone challenges him to race in a womans race to prove that there is absolutely no difference between natal male and natal women cyclists
