That's so messed up. I can understand why a virtue signalling parent would be thrilled if their child were gay (there's nothing wrong with being gay obviously but I know someone who uses her gay son to make herself seem special - even he cringes!) but who would want their child to be trans even if they were totally on board with the ideology themselves. Your child is telling you they feel trapped in the wrong body and it's means that they have a lifetime of medication and some very serious surgeries ahead of them. It's a serious medical condition and doctors are still in the experimental stage with treatments. It's not really a cause for celebration.

I've seen video of him performing as part of a group on Twitter and he's not just part of it like the rest - the whole thing is centred around him. All the real dancers are dancing around him and at the end they pick up flowers and hand them to him and he gets to do his bow by himself after the rest bow together. Not only has he taken a place from a woman, he's taken the starring role from another woman and they're all having to pretend like he's a brilliant dancer. The only reason he's there is because he's trans. Ballet is so hard on women and he gets a free pass. The other dancers must be sick

It's strange these people don't give a tit how bad they are. Look at the recent 'ice skater'. Any normal person would be embarrassed as you say. Not these.
Ballet is HARD. And I applaud him for trying because that would not be easy. But there is no way he deserves a place more than that girl. You can see in her legs and feet that she is superior. It is a disgrace that he would be offered a position over her. Would he ever be cast as Giselle or Odette with those skills? How could be perform any lifts? If he loves ballet so much, and there’s NOTHING wrong with that, why doesn’t he go for a male position? Those guys are incredible athletes. But of course, based on that performance, he could never compete with a male ballet dancer. So he just waltzes in (badly) and steals a place from a female

There are male dancers who dance on point - there are male ballet dancers full stop, they can do all the dancing that the women can do. Male dancers perform specific female roles, there is a famous clog dance in La fille mal grandee. I’m someone who had a really difficult childhood, my teenage years were hell (and sadly so have been my adult years) and I believe I would have thought about changing my gender just to escape my situation and mind. It would have been like a plaster, a temporary solution to cover the feelings of disgust and hurt but it’s not something that would have helped at all.

I was scrolling through Instagram and came across a video of Myleene Klass on a podcast and she said this to a lady who was hosting. The lady I believe had a miscarriage and lost her baby and I brought her such comfort. Of course as with social media, people in the comments section were getting at Myleene for not explaining it perfectly but she definitely got the sentiment.
