He’s a creep who assaulted a wee girl in a supermarket toilet. 6 foot 5 and an absolute danger yet he keeps being released or placed in the female estate. Disgusting
It’s scary and far too close to home for me. Literally close to where I live. Also I have a ten year old (boy) and have only recently let him go into the men’s toilets on his own. I usually stand outside with the door a little bit open shouting into him ‘are you ok’ etc, as you just never know what sickos could be in there. If it was up to me I’d bring him into the ladies with me until he’s maybe 12 but I don’t want women thinking that’s weird. At the moment he’s a small wee ten year old and no threat to anyone. But I worry about his safety in the mens. I take him out myself quite a lot without his dad so I’ve had to let him into the mens himself. He’s also starting to say to me that he can’t go in the ladies because he’s a boy. Which is fair enough but up until recently that’s what he’s been doing, but he’s getting more self aware now. Sorry I’ve derailed with toilet chat and kids. I just keep thinking of that wee girl in the Morrisons toilets with that ‘Katie’ monster. It’s scary 😞

That wee girl punched him and ran - so proud of her brave girl.

I honestly would not blink if a lad of ten was in the ladies with his Mum. He would probably feel uncomfortable but children should be safe.

This is just sad to see. Someone who is simply gender non conforming yet they've bought into the gender BS. Well, if you say "I am a man" enough times, maybe you'll convince yourself.

It really doesn't have to be this way.
I hope the contestants in the boxes had agreed to this scenario beforehand. There’s no shame in liking your guys to come with a pen.

She so confident when she proclaims she's a man and you can see the presenter just thinking no you're not love. I feel sorry for her but she's the living embodiment of the emperor's new clothes. Someone in her life should have told her she's not a man and not let her go on TV pretending she is.

I don't want anyone to spend their lives living in shame but honestly we've destigmatised too many things. We're all just expected to play along when some mentally unwell individual is making a tit of themselves.

It's like when some poor, talentless, socially inept soul would go on the X Factor and genuinely believe they were talented. It's probably mean to laugh at these people but not quite as mean as going along with the charade encouraging them to repeatedly humiliate themselves, forever.

I would really like to ask some liberal feminists who are so hell-bent on the TWAW idea, WHY? A man tells you that he’s a woman. And you just accept it, no questions asked. Allow him into your sport, change room, bed (if you’re a good little les). And just go along with this nonsense because A MAN tells you to?!?! I genuinely cannot understand why supposed feminists are going along with it? I know most of you here will probably agree and not be able to clarify it for me but it boggles my mind!

Wonder if there is some internalised homophobia here? ‘I’m a man who likes women’ is bizarrely easier for some than “I’m a butch/GNC woman who likes women’ - this is I think where the gender woo nonsense is really reductive. TRA’s don’t give men and women space to be anything other than reductive sexist stereotypes. You’re an effiminate man who prefers company of women, doesn’t like football, likes musicals? Must be trans! (I’m tired and can’t think of any decent GNC traits but you get the gist!)

I've thought about this alot and the only conclusion I can come to is they are women who want male approval. I can't think of anything else.

There was a comment on the Spectator article about humans never changing and the Riley Gaines situation being no different to burning the witch back in the day. All those talent shows where they allow some poor talentless sod to humiliate themselves for entertainment are basically modern day freak shows.so humans don't really evolve

Slight me-rail but I know y’all will understand.

these cosplaying fetishists will never experience their period being over a week late, being sick and thinking and hoping to be pregnant but then crying on the bathroom floor clutching a negative test.

Double post-

re whoever commented re witch trials-

yes the assault and cancellation of GC -or even just a little sceptical- women is modern day witch trials. Really recommend the Megan phelps roper podcast with JKR which explores this.

instead of physically murdering us (which was horrific and should never be forgotton or excused) intelligent, critical thinking women are demonised, their livelihoods ruined, financially impacted, safety of their families compromised, threatened, assaulted, shunned.

all for using their minds and expressing a dissenting voice.

Agree with this. We’ve had a brief respite where we appeared to be gaining equality but it’s just the start of the next cycle.

Women and girls are going backwards. I never thought of myself as a feminist because I thought it had all been achieved but I am a feminist now.

There's heartening stuff on the Philip Schofield thread - from yesterday evening onwards. Lots of people standing up and saying DQSH is wrong/eroding boundaries. The posts saying Drag Queen Story Hour is wrong it are getting lots more likes that the couple defending it.

If the guy was dressed as a character from the story like a pantomime dame, nobody would care too much e.g grandma in Little Red Riding Hood or the evil step mother in Snow White.

Dressing in drag for no reason does make it look like grooming, or normalisation to indoctrinate small children that it's perfectly normal.

IMO this is the difference between Les Dawson characters, pantomime dames, and todays drag artists.

pantomime dames are one thing but drag queens are adult entertainment. Some of the more explicit ones have offensive degrading names to women and make comments about women during their acts. You wouldn’t get other adult entertainers like male strippers turn up to a library in just a thong to interact with kids so how is drag any different?

I understand that they are reading kids books and not performing for kids, but why the drag look then? If they want to read to kids why can they do it as themselves?
