I have no idea! I’ve never tried to send a PM on here! I’m sure it was ridiculous of them & it sounds like it wasn’t a great place to be, but their loss is our gainI do! I don't really want to derail the conversation with Reddit nonsense. I'd send you a private message but it doesn't seem to be an option on my account. Has the feature been removed? I looked at account settings but couldn't find it there either.
I don’t think it’s fair to lump it into her age group as it’s been facilitated by a lack of leadership in many areas. From politicians being unable to define what a woman is, universities pandering to absolute nonsense instead of saying this is a place where great debate and thought has always taken place, education chiefs allowing identity politics into the classroom. From people forgetting what the equality act states allowing men into prisons, NHS, woman shortlists, toilets, changing rooms etc. From religious leaders allowing ideas like Jesus/God could be non binary or other pish. There is so much but basically we have created a society where children from an early age to young adulthood are bombarded with gender ideology and the concept of victims.I had quite the debate with my daughter (who has been sucked in by the whole ‘trans women are women’ schtick) about this sort of scenario. She said it wasn’t a valid point as it’s not going to happen that often.
Even once is one time too many, but it’s getting to be every week now. One day if she has a daughter, I hope she’ll bear in mind how her and her age group facilitated this nonsense.
Wow. So basically fuck those women who do get sexually assaulted, they don’t matter because it doesn’t happen often? She said it wasn’t a valid point as it’s not going to happen that often.
Thank you for this, I’ve just been down the rabbit hole about Beth and whatnot. Gobsmacked, and yet not all at the same timeMost of you will remember Alex Cole-Hamilton who was unable to assign a gender to Adam Graham and was firmly on the gender train along with being friends with the lovely Beth......changing his tune now compared to December
A change of tone
Alex Cole-Hamilton, December 2022: “I want to thank Beth, who’s compered and did that amazing speech at the start. Beth was with us in the public gallery of the Scottish Parliament thro…wingsoverscotland.com
The SNP was a party I was an active member of for quite a number of years. It used to be a democratic party where the majority of its policies originated from its branch members which where forwarded onto conference to be then debated/voted on before becoming official policy of the party. It also had an National executive committee which was made up of a variety of positions such as woman's officer, treasurer etc. Basically these positions where voted in by branch delegates at conference and certain woke members figured out the system could be gamed which is how we ended up with the likes of Rhiannon Spear as woman's officer whose mantra was "trans woman are woman" who was also the chair of "TIE (Time for Inclusive Education) which started off as a self funding LGBT organisation run by a dude self IDing which is now surprise surprise fully funded by the SG now. Back to the NEC however which was expanded with the likes of new posts like BAME officer, disability officer, LGBT officer and these positions where given more power/say in policy than the branches. A year down the line there was a pushback where certain people where voted out but the problem was still there as they where then simply appointed to committiees.I think some of the SNP's party guidance on what constitutes transphobia, shown in that article, is actually in conflict with the Forstater ruling. "Deliberately misgendering someone or using phrases or language to suggest their gender identity is not valid, for example referring to a transwoman as a 'biological man'." Half the party has breached that over the Isla Bryson case. And Forstater wrote into law that we have a right to hold that belief (or scientific fact).
I think what she was really trying to say is that it’s a hypothetical scenario put about by TERFs. She is a feminist and a feisty girl, I’m just sad she’s been sucked in to supporting this shite for fear of being shunned by her peer groupWow. So basically fuck those women who do get sexually assaulted, they don’t matter because it doesn’t happen often?
I see what you mean, it’s awful how feminism has been hijacked and flipped on it’s head to basically only benefit the TiMs.I think what she was really trying to say is that it’s a hypothetical scenario put about by TERFs. It is truly awful. We used to take them to see the HP films when they came out and they would be so excited. She’s now shunned everything HP because of JKR. I’ve asked her what JK has actually said that’s transphobic, but she can’t tell me anything conclusive. She’s basically been bullied in to an opinion by the prospect of being accused of transphobia.I see what you mean, it’s awful how feminism has been hijacked and flipped on it’s head to basically only benefit the TiMs.
Yes. What if the woman it happens to is her?Wow. So basically fuck those women who do get sexually assaulted, they don’t matter because it doesn’t happen often?
Not at all shocked at the 97 out of 230 transgender people held on remand being held for sexual offences.Who’s going to pretend to be shocked.
Man who attacked woman in the toilets claimed he identified as female
Ian Bullock, 39, who sexually assaulted a woman in a ladies' toilet claimed he was in there because he identified as female.www.dailymail.co.uk
This is it. The complacency, distance/detachment and siloed attitude which to me has always had an element of dehumanisation. One woman being attacked is still too many. And if it does happen you very quickly realise: (a) how vulnerable you are, (b) how little protection you have as a woman and (c) that the onus will be on you to provide evidence, to defend your human dignity and explain what happened; not your attacker.Yes. What if the woman it happens to is her?
(“It won’t happen to me” mentality, I guess… until it does)
