The utter obsession with how they are perceived by other people is just baffling. Who is sitting around worrying what's on their birth certificate? It's a factual legal document meant to reflect reality, not whatever someone feels like.

We all have a million things we wish were true about our lives. There seems to be a real confusion between what is a want and what is a right with these people.

Worryingly, the people who take me most seriously on this issue are two straight blokes I know, one a friend and one a colleague. I suspect they're both more concerned that none of this ideology stands up to any basic scrutiny or logical analysis than the erosion of women's rights, but it's one of those things where my feminist friends will just say, "yeah but most trans people just want to live there lives". Well yes, of course they do, and in my personal life I couldn't really give a fuck if I have to share a space with a trans woman. We'd probably get on. But this isn't just about me, it's about vulnerable women, the erosion of democracy, the twisting of language and ignoring fucking scientific reality in favour of men's feelings.

I didn't just wake up one day, a left wing woman who has spent her life among LGBT people and think, "Oh I'm gonna change all my views today and become a bigot for a laugh", as if having this debate is fun for us?! But if being a TERF for defending women and girls is the hill I have to die on then so be it.

I'm the only woman among a group of mostly left-leaning males and I had a really frustrating conversation with them yesterday about the trans agenda, where I was told to "grow up" and that I was getting riled up by a few fringe crazies on Twitter who don't represent the majority of trans people who just want to get on and live their lives quietly.

Someone even confidently mansplained that Gender was determined by an enzyme affecting the embryo at the exact right time and there fore it might be that the process goes wrong at some point. He was promptly shot down and told that sex is determined by chromosomes, but I couldn't believe the confidence with which he came out with complete rubbish.

I know you have to know your audience with this as a contentious topic, but I feel thoroughly flabberghasted and gaslighted into thinking I'm the crazy one.

tl:dr - men innately sticking up for other men. It's not them who are affected, we have to absorb all of the 'others' into our language and spaces.

We are what they'll never be. They can tell themselves we're jealous of their eye makeup, or whatever. They can tell themselves everyone is uncontrollably attracted to them and we are jealous. They can tell themselves they can 'woman' better than us. But deep down they know it's all lies

Good to see Sharon Davies speaking up for women's sport. And for once the replies aren't a complete shit show

The doublethink is incredible. View attachment 883840
Oh look, JKR being accused of weaponising her distress yet again.

Funny isn’t it, because if you’re in the trans cult you can weaponise your feelings as much as you want. You can “feel unsafe” just because someone doesn’t agree with you. And yet JKR literally was made to feel unsafe and she’s a rich white TERF bitch and she needs to shut up.

No it's not evil in the slightest. It's perfectly understandable for rape victims to not want to be around people that are obviously men while receiving therapy.

This comment on it is sickening - "So basically women are meant to look like a gender stereotype of they are kicked out - regardless of if they are trans or cis? LMAO"

No. They are not expected to look like a gender stereotype you fucking idiot. They are just expected to BE women.

Another mediocre male athlete decides they're female and entitled to compete in women's sport 🙄

Apparently people should be able to compete in the category they're most comfortable with. Nope, sorry. I couldn't give a shit if you feel "comfortable" in the women's category. You're not a woman and have no business in women's sport.

The only way that the women can tackle this, is to refuse to compete against him. If every other competitor lined up at the pool, waited for the starting gun, then all just walked away en masse, maybe the dickheads in charge will finally sit up and take notice of the female athletes. They need to do this at every single race where he is competing. Every single time. It's not a fair competion, so why should they bother? It's time for direct action, talking about it doesn't do any good, they're just not listening.

I was having a look at the Pantone colour charts and trends, and found an article about the predicted colour for 2023. It only caught my eye, because it is the same colour that we painted our living-room wall last year, clearly we're ahead of the pack!

Hidden amongst the usual over-blown jibber-jabber in the piece, was this little snippet:

"Digital Lavender is a gender-inclusive color that is already established in the youth market, and we expect it will broaden into all fashion product categories by 2023."

Wtaf is a "gender-inclusive" colour? Do they mean that it is a hybrid of both pink and blue? I honestly don't understand what they're on about, we chose it because it looked good on our wall, it's not too bright and it works with our fixtures and fittings. Is there really a colour that isn't "gender-neutral"? My husband and our son both have pink shirts, I wear a lot of blue stuff, we all wear black and white a lot, no colour is off-limits, surely? 🙄

I've just read an article on my work's intranet written by a bloke about how he puts his preferred pronouns in his email because it's a small thing he can do to be inclusive blah blah blah.

Nobody is misgendering Steve, but never let a man miss an opportunity to tell the world how fucking great he is for doing fuck all. Performative bullshit.

Also the way "gender identity" is touted as if its fact. Fucking nonsense.

I don't really care about what he said but there were so many comments about him on social media that made me roll my eyes "old white dinosaur" and so on. Despite age being a protected characteristic, the woke have no problem with ageism, funnily enough.

I expect Freddy wants to be recognised as “father” instead of “mother” or something equally self obsessed. After all, the whole trans ideology centres round “Validate me validate me validate meeeeeee”.
Sounds about right for Freddy. It's nothing to do with the child, it's about him and what makes him feel validated.

The thing is, it's the child's birth certificate. Not Freddy's. He might not like the fact that he's considered the mother, but erm, he also chose to get pregnant and give birth. Women give birth. So I don't know what he expected.

Yes but they consider an opinion they don’t agree with to be ‘actual violence’. So until they work out what the word means I will not agree with any of their statistics.

Using the wrong pronouns VIOLENCE
Asked to use the other bathroom VIOLENCE
Not told they are actually women VIOLENCE

14 women were murdered THIS ONE TIME A MAN GROPED ME

The reproductive aspirations of M2F transgender women deserve equal consideration to those assigned female at birth.

Er, no. No they don’t. Not when they're perfectly capable of reproducing with their own damn sperm.

I remember there being a doctor who occasionally sticks his head above the parapet, talking about uterine transplants for men, and promoting his private practice. I suspect it’s the same doctor. He seems to go quiet and then up will pop yet another article talking about uterine transplants for men and how attainable it all is. Pandering to the fetishists and the mentally ill.

I can’t believe this shit was approved for publication in one of the most prestigious obs & gynae journals. Women’s health issues are badly served enough, without the vanity projects of transwomen taking up space in medical literature. Fuck right off.

Of course men can be dismissive of women's issues. My point is women can be just as dismissive of men's too.

Something I've experienced myself many times.
Congratulations! You’ve managed to come out with the #1 cliche voiced by a man who is upset with a group of feminists criticising men as a class:

Women do that too you know!

#2 is saying forget women’s issues, men have issues too! And I think you sneaked that one in as well.

They were severely affected by maybe being left out of something that is nothing to do with them. Take your ultimate fomo and fuck off. That poor woman. I hope she got some help.
