it is infuriating, and I dont know how we can change things... unless we can breed misogny out somehow?! Is there a gene?? there cant be, it must just be inbred male entitlement, which, it has to be said, has been fed by too many women for too many years. I hope as my daughters (25 and 22) get into long term relationships they wont take this tit - in fact I know they wont, because they've never seen it at home. I guess they and I are just lucky in that I chose the right father for them - he has his faults, but is certainly not a misogynist! Wish all women could have that.

I still don't get how trans activism has gained so much traction. There are so many other instances where there is genuine, deep and systematic inequality to large groups (i.e women, people who don't have white skin) why do a bunch of - what look like - men dressed up as women hold so much sway?

It disgusts me.
Because when white men stand up and take action, people listen, and let's face it's that who the majority of the TRA are.

If anyone one asked my pronouns, I think I'll go with "whatever you want"

I still don't actually get it, because you don't use she to someone's face. If someone referred to me as she in front of me I say "who's she, the cats mother". Maybe the pronoun people could just employ that tactic then get over it.

I think one of the reasons the TRA movement has gained so much traction is because it’s a way that inadequate men can feel they belong to something and put women in their place. If you look at Twitter, most of them are conventionally unattractive straight men who have nothing going for them and who most women wouldn’t look twice at. These men put on a dress and suddenly they can bully lesbians into dating them and have women gushing about how stunning and brave they are. For the first time on their life, they’re being noticed and can now openly embrace hating women. Notice these are the ones who never actually get The Surgery.

Ahem, Buttcheek, I THINK you’ll find it’s ‘the cat’s previous incubator and birther’ nowadays.

Out of interest I googled jumpers with the word ‘women’ across them and funnily enough they are almost non existent. Not that it’s the kind of jumper I would wear myself but I feel like those types of tops were popular just a few years ago. Now wearing that would be a political statement and may cause offence 🙄

I have a jumper that says La Femme across, I wonder if that would cause a ruckus?

I'm on a misson now to find one. Or make one 🤔
I want a Cricut machine but told myself I can't afford one a while ago but then again with a machine I could print anything on a shirt...hmmmm
You're right though, I saw those tops everywhere a couple of years ago.

Selfish Mother still do tops with Mother Mama and Wonder Woman on. Not sure if they are too small and Indy for the TRAs to pile on.

I found a company that seemed potentially promising (The Spark Company), they had a bunch of feminist slogan shirts made in (apparently) ethical conditions and they donate a portion of each shirt to buying period products and giving them to shelters.

Then I looked at the LGBTQ+ section and they donate a portion of each shirt to 'an LGBTQ+ youth charity' - it doesn't say which one, but on the off-chance that it's mermaids that has put me off buying from them.

Though for a supposedly feminist company, this shirt turned me off them anyway... duck this tit

I am so sick of this whole 'anyone with big boobs is a bimbo' garbage.

Edit - on a more positive note, this place has some nice stuff

Yes! I have big boobs but I am also an intelligent, functioning member of society, they're not mutually exclusive 😂

Same, it's a real bugbear of mine.

There's been a big push on Twitter the past couple of years of 'art fixing' which is taking 'problematic' art and changing it to be more inclusive, which often involves giving characters substantial breast reductions. There is also massive backlash against any new animated shows or games that show women with even medium-sized breasts, because they say it's sexualising them for the male gaze.

Except the problem with that is that a) you are saying that big breasts are inherently sexual (which isn't something you want the pre-teen who develops more than their peers to internalise at a young age) and b) you are saying that women with small breasts are inherently not sexy and it's not possible for men to be attracted to them, which seems like a slap in the face to women who have smaller chests.

I cant post it here (on my work computer) but I advise you all, nay URGE you to go and watch the clip of protesters outside Netflix yesterday, protesting Dave Chapelle's show.

Its utterly brilliant and is like a scene from Curb Your Enthusiasm or Atlanta. I swear, there are some comedy writers out there taking note.

There's a man with a sign that says 'I like Dave'

A protester damages his sign (removes the top of it leaving only the stick) and then screams 'He's got a weapon!' (yeah, its the stick of the sign you just destroyed)

Then a very odd small person starts having a fit, waving an angry tambourine in his face and yelling 'REPENT MUTHAFUCKA!!!!!!!' over and over again.

Brilliant.
