How can you ask one group of people to use different pronouns to another group of people? Also I thought if you can’t always tell someone’s gender identity by looking at them how are you supposed to know who is trans and who is cis and what pronouns they should use for you…… just making up rules as they go along!
Give me strength 😂
I mean, if we were going to be really petty about it, how do they know when to be offended? How will they know that I’m cis? Will I be asked if I’m trans and then they’ll decide whether to be offended or not??

I was in a meeting today and we were all asked our pronouns. No men gave them and almost all the women did. I immediately felt an affinity with those women that didn't.

The logic falls down every time so that is when we have people saying outlandish statements followed by ‘I’m not taking questions’ or ‘I don’t want any discourse’. That is a red flag as they know their arguments are without any basis in fact. I’m tired of these storytellers being allowed to dictate reality. Science is real. Hundreds of years of study has not disproved the sex binary in mammals and this will not do it either.

Was anyone challenged as to why they hadn't given pronouns? Did anyone say, "Prefer not to say?"

We are getting more and more notifications at work of "voluntary" workshops and presentations to educate us about Inclusivity. What's the betting it's not about including LGB, women, race, age ranges etc? It's all about the pronouns. All this makes me very tempted to retrain in a skill and become a sole trader.

Or "Are they not bleeping obvious?"
Next time, wear a dinosaur tshirt 😜 Isn't that what the politicians called us last month? 🤔

I deleted my twitter last month as a lot of it just a load of toxic rit. People living in their echo chambers believing people really give a tit about what they say.
I feel the same. I think the world would be a better place without Twitter. I wish mainstream media would stop using it as a news source as its propagating the hatefulness and lies

What do they want? I wish they'd make their minds up, would be so much less confusing for everybody. THEN we could get into the discussion about who gets into women's safe spaces/prisons/sports etc etc.

ETA here's a clue: they would be actual women, like with vaginas, menstruation, the menopause, the possibility to give birth/need an abortion, not to mention all those nasty cancers that only affect actual women. It's too much to hope for isnt it?

Someone please employ David Paisley so he stops reporting women who tweet things that make him sad.

Scotland is a scary place for a woman right now - and that man is a menace, how can police not see he is wasting their time for his boohoo feelings

bleeping pathetic. I had a man literally harassing me at my work, called the police and they did duck all about it.

Slightly OT but I noticed a few regular posters from the previous threads haven't been around as much recently...it's tough to keep up with the latest fuckery at times so I get it, but if any of you are still reading along I hope you're doing ok 🤗
