Reminds me of not so long ago, a poem read out by Gray Crosbie experienced enormous backlash. It has the same self indulgent tone. To the extent the BBC channel on Twitter had to come out to defend their choice to tweet it.

Yeh, and women with absentee fathers bear the shame, as though it was their fault and it’s turned into a sexual fetish that women with daddy issues are more keen to please in bed. Instead of recognising it as a potentially traumatic event in a young woman’s life, it’s used to sexualise her.
You don’t get men being sexualised for having “daddy issues”. Absentee fathers don’t bear any shame, many go on to have second families free from judgement or blame.
Fully agree with this. A 'neo tina' is not anywhere near the real thing and the other person has a right to know.
My MIL had a great response to a post by a "non-binary" man about how he should be allowed to use womens toilets because of abuse by men - "You think the attention you get wearing a dress is scary, just imagine what it's like for a teenage girl going out and have some empathy!"
And I know that transwomen like to imagine all men are uncontrollably attracted to them but the reality is that straight men won't be. And surgery or not, straight men aren't just attracted to vaginas, in the same way I'm attracted to men and that includes the whole package, not just a fool
I think what I find problematic with this is that if someone has a genetic abnormality or a medical condition pertaining to their genitals, do they need to disclose this before a sexual encounter? I personally don't think so, unless it's a STD.
ETA: I don't actually think true deception can happen very often in real life. Photos are one thing, but meeting people in person, you can generally tell fairly quickly. I know some trans people talk a lot about passing, but I don't think they consider that the vast majority of people are just polite.

I would assume they would disclose it. A deformity or medical issue isnt quite the same as literally swapping gender.

FTM pass better than MTF I think. I'd absolutely feel lied to, and ive been with men and women. We shouldnt just have to accept it. Our bodies, our choice who gets to see/touch/be intimate with.
Yeah to be honest I don't really know enough about the various conditions that could occur to comment but in the case of a post of (whether you're MTF or FTM) it should definitely be disclosed
I am very wary of allowing "trans panic" defences in law. The essence of this is that if a man feels he has been "tricked" into gay sex (or was going to be), it's justified for him to harm or kill the other person. That would invariably pave the way to allowing defence for homophobic hate crimes. But there'd be less support for it if some TRAs didn't try to promote the idea that any prospective romantic/sexual partner doesn't need to know your biological sex and being expected to tell them is hateful

Why does every conversation on twitter include the term cis these days. Or “white cis” if you’re going for a double blow and throwing racism in.
Men absolutely use "cis" and / or "white" as a thin veneer for their misogyny so that if challenged they can say "well we're not talking about all women, only these ones"
