It’s sort of just funny at this point, Owen wanting to amplify womens voices. Shame he’s tried to silence so many of them in the past.
Edited to add: I have found a new book to read in the replies though! I already have Dr Jess Taylor’s, and saw Dr Jane Monckton-Smith recommended. Shehas a new book out that looks like a difficult but interesting read. (similarly I’ve found Taylor’s book interesting but also very sad!)

I have been thinking the same. How long until we’re told that trans women are actually more at risk. A friend of mine posted a list of 80 women who have been murdered by men since Sarah was killed. A list of their names, ages and who murdered them. I couldn’t get over the number. 80 women since March this year. It’s horrifying. The focus will shift though after a few weeks as it always does. The trans movement doesn’t like being out of the spotlight for too long.
Sorry I'm a bit behind with the thread. But my mum told me a story similar to this and said that because of it bus's and trains have to let lone women travel home at night for free even if they don't have fair. She told me that in the 90s. It sadly sounds like the law either isn't true or not ineffect, because women are still being denied safe transport home and being put at risk.
this is already happening, even at the vigil the issue that trans women are more at risk etc etc. same with international women's day, we cannot even have a day or a period of mourning to ourselves anymore
