My baby was born at 35 weeks during lockdown 1. Healthyish weight and was in regular maternity ward to check for jaundice. It’s not always about how early they are, she’s had a lot of intervention during pregnancy x

Yes I totally understand, I’ve had ivf my babies born 37 & 38 weeks low weight & jaundice. I have lost babies early on I just think sometimes appreciate what you have & enjoy each special little moment how ever big or small.

He has pneumonia and respiratory issues. She said he was checked by a neonatal nurse after birth and seemed ok but then started to struggle whilst in recovery. She wrote it on her post. It then deleted it

Whiist i get she is going through a tough time at the moment i do genuinely hope the baby arrives ok, her moaning is becomming insufferable now, like she is the only woman to go through this.

So glad you put this , I’ve been thinking the same now for a while. It’s the constant poor me. I’ve been through IVF I never once moaned just so grateful for babies.

A few of you are so angry at this post I’d be willing to bet you’re the same kind of parents who moan that you don’t have time to shower, haven’t washed your hair in a week, your houses are a mess etc.

I’m not judging for saying there’s another option? It seems like you’re almost judging people for using methods to get their children to sleep. I don’t need told what leads to secure , confident children as i have a degree in that and do it in my job

Oh god I’m going to be really unpopular but as someone who works with adopted children and their families and sees the heartache, the struggles, the pain. Most of the children born addicted to drugs and alcohol and even 15/16 years later this has seriously impacted their mental development. Not trying to sugar coat it but most of their parents are ready for a nervous breakdown and that alone put me off adoption. A very close friend of mine went through all the stages of adoption after 10 years of infertility and then suddenly got pregnant before a child was placed with her and the months of classes she had to do on foetal alcohol syndrome and all sorts just put me right off every adopting if I couldn’t have children of my own. Aware this makes me sound horrible but there you go

You’re being honest, absolutely nothing wrong with that. And tbh you wouldn’t be right for those Children anyway, however it does baffle me that people just seem to automatically assume that by having biological Children it will all be rosy. Children can be born with or acquire any number of health issues at any point.

I’m surprised how poorly he is being born 36 weeks, i know all babies are different but my friends 35 week baby came home with her after a week, any idea why he’s so poorly at this gestation & given all the steroids she had to ensure his lungs were ready for an early birth?

I cannot see her going home & leaving him hospital on his own, MiL is in Devon I think she would be here if he was poorly, Lauren posted that she had been to see him & had stopped at a cafe which is on route to their home. Just enjoy him & stop all the drama!

Why does she expose and slag her kids off so much?! We don’t need to know that your son is addicted to electrical devices. If anything SHE should be ashamed she’s let it get that bad! If she spent time with them and showed them other hobbies maybe he wouldn’t be addicted to the point he can’t sleep at night and is sneaky about it. She’s a joke

Her eldest Child is plenty old enough to understand that sneaking around to play on electronic devices during the night is not acceptable, but rather than attempt to actually parent him she thinks she’s doing well by hiding said devices, and then to tell the whole of Instagram? How she’s not embarrassed by that I’ve no idea, but then we are talking about a Woman who has stuffed herself silly her entire adult life to then shell out a ton of money for a quick fix gastric sleeve because she’s too bone idle to lose weight the hard way.
