I don’t think so. In football there are always senior players of the senior team, for example Kane & Maguire would be a senior player. Whereas although Rice plays for the senior team I wouldn’t really class him as a senior player. It’s confusing but that’s how I interpreted it, and the majority of people on twitter etc are thinking the same. But who knows

Roy‘s three tournaments got worse and worse. Euro 2012 wasn’t too bad with a pretty poor squad only penalties away from the semi. 2014 was the curse of a tough tough group but the performances were not actually too bad. Then 2016 was horrendous for all but the flattering last minute win against Wales.

We had a decent squad in 2016 as well. Roy just didn’t have a clue tactically when it came to more attacking players.

Too loyal to the likes of Rooney Hart and Wilshire too.

Also the England Under -21 squad has been announced and Curtis Jones has been called up as well Jimmy Garner who were talking about the other day.

I wouldnt have thought so as most nights before games, the team are together.

Normally. Through apparently some clubs don’t meet till about 10pm on nights before an evening home match.

Klopp doesn’t quite get that the PL is not actually that popular and the public in the UK won’t support (foreign) players getting widespread red list exemptions. The League knows it has to save its powder when fighting the Government and the FA for other issues I think. I suspect if Engkand Players were involved the public and press might be more sympathetic but that is a nature of nationalism.

I have wondered about Rashford becuase it was mentioned last year in one of the broadsheets that he was being lined up to Lead a pro vaccine campaign and we haven’t yet heard.
