With the tournament just over a month away, the players' partners have been provided with a rulebook on what's allowed and what could earn them a £6,000 fine and a year in jail.
both sets of fans (liverpool and city) should be embarrassed by their behaviour. i get it’s a tense game and tempers run wild but oh my god they need to get an actual grip of their lives. no excuse for either of their behaviours! said it many times but it’s the behaviour of a few that ruin it for the many.
don’t agree with chanting any song about people who’ve lost their lives and certainly don’t agree with vandalising. but also don’t agree with police aggression towards fans (don’t care if they was being lairy you’re a bleeping police officer and should be trained how to keep the peace without the need for intimidation and violence) and think it’s vile that coins were thrown at pep, away fans (even in spite of their disgusting behaviour) and also think it’s wrong the team bus got damaged, who the duck takes a missile to a game.

People wouldn’t get seriously hurt if those in charge actually done something about it. It’s really not that difficult to check security cameras, see who was acting out of order and ban them from the stadiums. Think the main reason i’m angry about these comments from city is because to me it seems like a way of deflecting away from how their own fans behaved yesterday, I haven’t seen one person from the club condemn or even mention what happened but they are more than happy to throw around their own accusations (rightfully so, but keep the same energy for your own fans/club).
It’s also the media who have spent ALL day reporting on city’s bus being apparently damaged, yet not one word has been said about the singing and chants from the city fans. They have also been condemning Klopp for being “threatening” to the referees and officials yet are silent when Pep and other managers act the same, it’s so tiring. People claim we are “always the victims” which is disgusting when you realize the context they are using it in, but when you actually take a step and look back it’s always Liverpool that get the tit end of the stick when it comes to these things.

I really hate that some fans ruin it for others who just want to enjoy the matches. Rivalry is ok I have banter with a friend who supports arsenal 
but at the end of the day it's just a game why do people have to act like utter dickheads

City have condemed the chants. Just for clarification i dont like or condone any of them wether it be about hillsbrough, heysel or munich i think there all vile and sick personally and any whos been doing it should be banned. I also havent seen liverpool condem there fans for the coins busses, spitting and throwing urine on the city fans so that could be said about liverpool. I just feel like this is heading in a bad way and the authorites will do nothing about it like they havent for the past numerous years its been going on. Ive been at these games and the police are useless they just ignore anything which is what worries me.... i dont personally have an issue with liverpool fans my mums one and was at the game yesterday. I worry about the younger generation who have no morals/issues with getting in fights and such thats all
One of the first things Klopp said in his interview after the game was how awful the coin throwing incident was and apologized for it. The apparent incident with the police concerns me, I haven’t seen any footage so not sure exactly what happened but as others have said they should be trained to deal with these circumstances. It’s hardly surprising though when you look at their history

Klopp apologized for the behavior of our fans less than an hour after the game was played, it wouldn’t have been hard for Pep to do the same. Sing about us only winning 1 premier league in 30 years, sing about city never winning a CL, sing about anything that’s not personal. It will never happen though. I used to love going to football games and bantering back and forth with the rival fans, there were times it got personal and inappropriate but most of the the time it was just a bit of fun rivalry. These days I don’t even enjoy attending any games because of how bad the fans are.
I won't comment on the case, but in what world of privilege do you live when you feel it's acceptable to turn up to court wearing joggers?

i agred, it’s not going in a good direction and going off the back of the mention of younger generations, I get a lot of football stuff on my FYP page, one tiktok came up and the comments were bleeping abhorrent.
“Murders FC” and “the sun was right” about Liverpool, calling Man Utd fans Munichs and saying they’re “playing five aside”, comments about some of the Arsenal that I won’t repeat but imagine the slur these pricks would think and you’re there, bleeping Holocaust comments about Jews and Tottenham, ISIS comments about Muslim players…
It is absolutely vile. I reported a bunch of the comments but they won’t do anything…all I can hope is that these kids eventually grow a conscience with their frontal lobe and they remember this and the shame follows them for a long time.
It’s not really relevant to this situation but it’s the same with Ivan Toney and what he posted last week. People were claiming he should never have posted it as it will have ruined the persons life, I hope it has. If you post racist comments on a public social media account that has your name, picture and other information then you deserve everything that’s coming to you
Twitter used to be good at getting rid of them as I used to always report any I saw, since they changed how to report though only 1 I reported got banned. Rest I got back 'not broken rules'
