You do see one or two stories about. There are often rumours in local gay communities, because gay men are not known for being discreet within the community itself (I suspect, but don't know, that the logic is that its not outing someone if you're only telling other gay people, or something to that effect). I'm not acquainted enough with any local gay communities to really find out though
