I made an account here after reading the last 3-4 threads to catch up and I just want to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this family and EVERYTHING they do for autism and education!....Until I watched more then 5 videos and realized they were pieces of shit.

I couldn't resist starting my first post here as an opening of making it seem like I supported them. lol

Let's begin with my thoughts on this, I found them 2 separate ways, the first was when my friend who does have a special needs child shared a video to their page and I honestly clicked and watched because I was cleaning and needed sound. The second time I found them? THEY USED PAID ADS WITH THE DAMN POTTY TRAINING VIDEO! Not only are you making money on the video but you're now paying so strangers can watch your Daughter use the toilet? I sat there and watched him go through a potty routine with her and now seeing all of this and how she used to be?

She's definitely regressed because in the older videos when ASSa would do crafts with her she actually did understand and did them and appeared to at max 3-4 years old mentally just unable to speak.

I hope that Isiah moves away for college, comes home maybe on the Holiday's and then he either marries his current Girlfriend or finds himself a different one, my point is I hope he finds himself a decent woman, marries her and has his own kids and life AND I really hope that when the parents eventually pass on, he does not have to care for her all his life because THAT is truly hell for such a young man who had to deal with Abbie all his life the way it is. He didn't make Abbie, that was P and ASSa who laid down to make that child, not Isiah.

Not only did they set Isiah up for life with a constant burden they didn't teach this girl anything and they push anyone away who could help Abby in any manner so she's a spoiled baby who can physically fight you like a grown ass man if she wanted to and at times, I think she does try to purposely hurt them because they DON'T listen to what she wants. Since you don't TEACH her shit, try TRAINING her. Do you understand that term better ASSa?

I also believe that Summer, who is a complete moron is option two. They already have in their minds that Isiah is going to take care of Abby when they die and if Isiah finally decides 'haha, no screw you guys.' when they're gone they want Summer to take on this roll even though the tension in the videos between them is clearly visible.

I adore Brandi and how she actually makes Abbie do things and sign, she seems to be the best of the bunch along with CN. They should honestly just let Summer stop interacting with Abby, she's not a 'best friend' or even a friend and Abby KNOWS that. You can tell she does know when they're talking shit about her. Brandi and CN treat her like a real person.

They talk about and at Abby like she's a dog or an expensive doll they bought that they only play with because 'we spent the money' on this. I have seen a few of you saying that she says words or she does not. I agree, I have heard her say words after watching many of these trainwreck videos. She clearly says 'No' it's a louder grumble BUT when she does it, she shakes her head like you would to shake your head 'No' and I don't think it's Stimming, she's clearly expressing she does not want to to things but they make her. She actually says no a lot as well as I've seen her look directly at ASSa and pull on his sleeve and be like 'Daaaah!' with a grunt and I think she's trying to say 'Dad' or at least 'Dada' based on her mental age.

I used to do old threads (GuruGossip) back in the day so if this is the new gossip site and anyone was from there back in the days of Trasha then...Hi! I wasn't going to type anything about these people, I just wanted to see if anyone else thought it was weird and I came over here and found all of this shit and I'm thrilled I'm not the only one who is concerned for Abbie. I also am shocked to find out how old P is, My Mom is in her 50's and looks younger than her and she's not a health nut and she's smokes and has COPD and she's still heather and looks better but she's also not a glutton. I thought was maybe 56-60, that mlm blush or whatever she puts on her cheeks looks like shit and adds YEARS to her.

This one is for you ASSa and P

1. Isiah is your son, he was not born for the sole purpose of being Abbie's caregiver if something happens to either of you.
2. Summer borderline abuses your child by pushing her, I've seen her actually pull on Abbie's hair! Then you let her talk shit about Abbie too.
3. Abbie is not your dog or your cute little doll. Talk TO HER, not at her.
4. FFS! ADD A YES AND NO BUTTON TO HER iPAD OPTIONS! YOU ARE THE PEOPLE NOT ALLOWING HER TO EXPRESS HER WANTS!
5. By allowing your child to act like a wild fucking animal with little to no consequences, just let it sink it....Isiah ain't gonna want that when she's 30 and stronger. If you have any hopes of your precious little caregiver of a son to remain that way when you die, TEACH HER!

Abbie eats like a wild animal, it reminds me of that one wolf boy painting for picture. There was some story about a boy being raised by wolves years ago. Abbie actually acts like the boy raised by wolves, let that sink it. a boy who was RAISED by wild animals all his life and was 'normal' at birth acts in similar ways as your child and when they finally brought him around people, obviously his brain couldn't fully speak on the levels of the average person but he did learn enough words to communicate.

And, just shows where Abbie really is. They are always saying "Abbie knows who her people are." She might. But she clearly doesnt know who isnt her people either. Its sad that at this age she doesnt even notice or care who she is grabbing.

I believe that Abbie doesn't even know she's in the world the majority of the time.
Much less where she is.
I'm surprised she doesn't grab random strangers more often.

Let’s just start off by saying-liars. While true those vids were shot a week ago,they fell right into the period that it was declared a pandemic and when a State of Emergency was declared.
They could care less for anyone,if they did,they would have went directly home after Cabo and stayed there.

As I predicted,they are in such a bind right now w no ways to get out,make vlogs. Am sure Abbie is having problems w all the changes that have occurred over the last couple of weeks as well.

Definitely generational. I am 48, and the word was the R word. My sibling is retired from ARC, Association of R Citizens. And retirement acct still has the name. The R word is just what is was called. Like many other things, people made jokes with the term, but many people my age still slip and say it. Chief complaint when they sued the school Dept inDuval county was Abbie wasn’t haven’t her needs met.
Well,here we all are,she has been afforded to be in a good school,and now they admit that they had no clue about what her routine is?
So what was the real reason for the suit? Was it because they themselves just didn’t want any of the responsibility of meeting Abbies needs? Am not saying the system isn’t broken..sure it is.
If I were a teacher at her school and saw this vlog,I would pounce to post how they have been informing them all along as to what Abbie does. Then again,being late to school so many times,maybe she misses this part of the day a good deal of time!

It weirded me out in todays vlog when A handed off Isaiahs bag and said "hold this babe" and summer took it. I am sure he was talking to P but he just seems scummy in general so he gives me bad feelings.

And ya Ab probably assumed they would force her to do it. Why she was upset. They rarely give a shit what Abby communicates even when it's clear.

Pinned comment about and timeline of their trips are horseshit. This virus was a thing before they went to Cabo. Sure no national emergency was declared but people where getting sick everywhere.

I won’t pass judgement on how old she looks. In all fairness,having a child like Abbie am sure would age a person much faster. I see how much older I look due to the stresses that have come my way over the last 10 yrs( and the smaller ones before).
My daughter looks at the least 5-7 yrs older than she is due to the demands of raising an autistic child.( Not as severe as Abbie)
I will however pass judgment on how she treats people. How much they have exploited daughter. How much she lies. How hard she has been on Isiah.
I will knock her for being in the beauty business without any clue as to what product /colors/application she herself should be using.
I will call her out when she lies about eating less,and we see that’s not so.

Yeah,the wrinkles/aging- not so much. To the ones who have been able to get through life without it showing in your face-kudos. • Abbie isn't learning in public school (because she is severely IDD, non verbal and lacks fine motor skills and attention span to even hold a pencil or follow directions?), NO, let's sue them for all they got. Abbie has a right to a free education.
• Government says that her IDD is too advanced for that Dynavox (that costs a small fortune), Gov say she will just break it. She has an iPad and a f$n gifts her a Dynavox. WHAT? They still complain and press the issue,, she breaks the Dynavox shortly after getting it and breaks atleast one of the several iPads that she had and they misplaced them before as well. Now you rarely see her use her iPad for communicating or otherwise.
• Yay, they got Abbie into a great private school, JSA, paid for by taxpayers and the Maass' can rejoice! NOPE, treats it like a low class daycare, drops her off late everyday, doesn't follow through with the school's"homework" and training, uses the school for vlog content, has no clue what she's doing at school.
• Autism on the Seas, Awesome! Let's take Abbie snorkelling, oh the peasants say that maybe she shouldn't go in the water! NO no no, let us educate and spread awareness to these peasants, WE are YouTube royalty, Abbie can swim.....then karma said...

The still gets me. I wish we could have seen that. Not to humilate Abbie, but to see exactly what Asa did at the time, because when they got off the boat and Asa was trying to talk about it, you could see P had been crying and looked mortified. I've wondered if that was simply because of the poop...or also because of how Asa may have reacted to people who were there? Some people have weak stomachs...what if someone gagged or got sick? Did Asa then begin to bluster about "awareness and acceptance" and start ranting Abbie has a right to crap wherever she wants? I can see it happening....

You are so right. Abbie can learn to communicate and stop having so many tantrums. But it will take a lot of time and it won't be pretty. That's not good vlog footage. People will feel sorry for Abbie and Ass will get backlash. (Notice how I left out Pitycilla, she is way to lazy to even try) therefore no free money and in my opinion that's how Ass is exploiting Abbie.
And speaking of free money, at the rate coronavirus is destroying livelihoods, alot of people will have to budget their spending and I don't care how cute Abbie is they are not going to choose her over food and shelter.

I’m so beyond mad that since they have gotten that puppy , Sandy has gotten sick and they have left it over 3 or 4 times while they went away over the course of only two months !!!!! I’m sure Sandy spends most of the time in that cage !!! poor Maverick - that dog is the absolute sweetest - they don’t deserve him ! Hire a dog walker Maas family !!! Garbage people !!!!!!!

They should NOT have gotten that puppy knowing they would be leaving on so many trips. They do not have a clue about animals at all. They way they threw Nala in the mix without allowing her time to acclimate was just sad. Now the puppy...sick....staying in the cage....not getting love and attention.

I hope you stay well, it is so hard to stay in. I am actually sick right now. I have a nasty cough and runny nose, but no fever. I work in a homeless shelter so I am high risk to catch it, and of course be a carrier as well. I called our local hotline as required and was told to keep washing my hands, cover my mouth, and go to an ER if I start running a fever. I dont think it is anything other than a cold, but I wore a mask at work yesterday and stayed home today....its hard to know what to do. I am considered essential service, so there is no staying home every day unless a fever starts.

Be safe. Since my husbands death in January,I have had pneumonia twice. And now,same as some..runny nose,headache,body ache,no fever. I also called and can’t be tested. Am over 60,do have a suppressed immune system,etc. My main problem is no PCP at this time. So,when they say call your doctor,I am one who can’t do that. Have basically resigned myself to the fact that if I do have it,will have to do as so many others,just deal with it and hope for the best.
Am glad I found this forum,as it has kept my mind a bit occupied. Has helped to let some of what I have been feeling these last couple of months be vented towards the Moobman and MakeupSilly. So there is an upside....

I actually don't find it that odd or 'wrong' for Summer & Isaiah to play-fight with Abbie, tickle her etc. As we've said many many times already, Abbie's mentality is much younger than her physical age. Anywhere from 1 - 3 years old depending on the situation. They're relating to her on that level. If she were an NT 15 year old - that would be a different story. Also, it clearly makes Abbie happy. She doesn't get upset or in distress by it.

Very true, thank you. Another thing (the main thing) that makes Abbie happy if food, mostly junk food. However she has to be limited and trained how to handle food or she would eat until she vomited. Similarly she needs to be taught how to function in the world and interact with others. She learns through consistent interaction and repetition according to them. So if tickling and wrestling is a large part of her interaction with others what will she do when she is older, how will she adapt to future care givers. What if she needs to go to a group home. These are all very real circumstances that she may face as a toddler trapped in the body of an adult. Again, they need to reevaluate what "set for life" fully entails.

It makes me so angry how they allowed Abbie to grab that lady, and the fans are not only condoning it but wishing it was them. wtf? what a liar that fat man is as well. he did not apologize or correct her behaviour! there is a full 10+ seconds after the incident before they cut to a new clip where there was no apology so he can not try and make the excuse that the apology was just edited out. Then when they do cut to a new clip, its Assa condoning the behaviour saying the lady is just not used to dancing.

AnP have sad a few times they hover over Isaiah... and failure isn't an option. Seems to me Isaiah is affraid. His father belittles him constantly, on damn near ever video if you watch close. Isaiahs accomplishments are THEIR accomplishments... if their son does something it has to involve them. If A thinks Isaiah is outshining him he has to try and take his son down a notch. I know the type... I don't blame Isaiah for seeming to be weak. It isn't safe to push back on someone like A... he will tear hom down emotionally and mentally. They have proven this numerous times. With everyone A says condescending things and tries to make people feel less then him.

Off comment topic but someone said that AnP mistreat Jen so much because she is what they want Ab to be. I think they do it because despite having Autism she is mire intelligent, talented, and all around better person. Jen is in MENSA, plays numerous instruments by ear, has a spot on wit, and enjoyable to watch.
