Good catch. I had forgotten about that. It definitely should not be tolerated. I get that it happened quickly but if they know she has issues with that, it's something they need to be mindful of and act on when she's around food. I also think that was another situation where Asa thought it was 'cute' and that the viewers would find it cute, too.
You're right. There are times when it's very obvious that she doesn't really have to go. But that isn't the case every time. It's kinda tricky and as I said, they've done it to themselves with their lazy attitudes.
As for the pool, I think what you've suggested is great. Just let her hang out and do her own thing. I think if they did that, they'd be surprised at how she would begin to get in the pool - on her own - more often. The times she's jumped in the pool herself, it was at a time of her choosing and no one was crowding her and forcing her. Plus, they more they engage in this aggressively forcing her into the pool, that's just going to build a negative association for her and make her even more resistant. It bothers me, too.
